Inaugurated the one-day Joint Cyber Crime Coordination Team (JCCT-IV) Conference, hosted by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau at TGICCC, Hyderabad, today. The MHA has established seven regional JCCTs to strengthen coordination among LEAs across States. I4C officers led by CEO he JCCT-IV States, representatives of six specially invited States and key national stakeholders participated.
I highlighted Telangana’s progress in combating cybercrime and its No. 1 ranking in recent reviews by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Office. I stressed that our response must go beyond recovering money to preventing fraud and dismantling the networks that enable it. Also drew attention to the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s observations on digital arrest frauds and shared 52 recommendations across six sectors submitted to the Union Home Secretary, covering banking, telecom, security, corporate accountability, digital infrastructure and international cooperation.
Today’s deliberations focused on strengthening prevention, inter-State coordination, joint operations, online crimes against women and children, AI-enabled detection and accountability. These discussions will help shape a unified strategy for a more coordinated and effective response to cybercrime in the country.

Today, 2 November, on the death anniversary of Flying Officer Vinod Kumar Chama Sir, I had the privilege of paying my humble tribute to this brave son of India at Mount Kalsubai, the highest peak of Maharashtra.
Standing at the summit, I proudly held the Indian Tricolour along membering his courage, dedication and sacrifice for our nation.
At just 24, Flying Officer Vinod Kumar Chama Sir had already dedicated his life to serving the country. As a MiG-21 pilot with the Indian Air Force’s 24 Squadron, he lost his life on 2 November 1983 while serving the nation.
He is a real hero and an inspiration to today’s generation. His life reminds us that age does not define the impact we can make, but courage, commitment and service to the nation do.
As a small effort to honour his life and keep his story alive, I have also made a documentary titled THE UNNAMED, which shares the story behind this special tribute. The documentary will be released soon.
Through my mission, Har Shikhar Par Tiranga, I sincerely hope to bring the stories of such heroes to the younger generation and ensure that their sacrifices are remembered.
Flying Officer Vinod Kumar Chama Sir, your life continues to inspire us, and your sacrifice will always be remembered with the deepest respect.

The Ekta Parade held in Kevadia, Narmada district , Gujarat on the occassion of Sri Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s birth anniversary, was one of the best I have ever seen in over 3 decades and I attended with my wife. It was specially designed with lot of pomp and ceremony.
After the rade, the march past by the contingents of the forces of various states which fought Naxalites and Maoists over the last 5 decades was worth watching, especially the Telangana Greyhounds walking past with lot of energy and war cries. Then there were the song and dance sequences to exhibit Maoism and its elimination. There were tableaus exhibiting various states and the unification of India by the Iron Man.
It was rounded off with the beautifully choreographed combined dance of unity by all states troupes and a fireworks show.

In the presence of the H’ble PM Sri Narendra Modi, we all saw the wonderful dance and drama showing the freedom struggle by the ascetics of Anand Mat and their fight against the British and their narration of Vande Mataram as an act of mobilisation of anti British forces.
Today evening is the parade by all the special forces which have fought with the Maoists over the last 5 decades and finally have rid the country of this left wing extremism. Our Greyhounds force has been practising for over a month here and today evening we’ll be witnessing that Ekta parade which will be live on TV across the country.

Got up in the morning today to hear the very sad news Balasubramanyam, IPS of 1994 batch, has passed away in the USA. When I was SP Nizamabad in 1996-99 period, he was my addl sp operations and showed exemplary bravery in tackling the naxalites, sometimes undertaking very risky SP prakasham and in the intelligence were all eventful . After bifurcation, he was allotted AP and went away to the USA for a long period and then was detected with this illness.
Two months ago he had spoken to me and said he was going to the USA again for another type of treatment and wanted some help which I extended immediately. He was critical but hopeful. I never imagined that would be his last call to me.
I am at a loss of words about loss of such an esteemed and exemplary colleague . May his soul rest in peace Om Shanti 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Two months ago he had spoken to me and said he was going to the USA again for another type of treatment and wanted some help which I extended immediately. He was critical but hopeful. I never imagined that would be his last call to me.

Attended the mega blood donation drive organised by Hyderabad City Police at CAR Headquarters and 37 other locations today, as part of Police Commemoration Week. The drive aimed to support patients battling thalassemia and cancer, as well as those in need of blood following ical emergencies. Police duty is rooted in sacrifice and service, and this initiative reflects that same spirit.
Around 5,700 units of blood were donated by police personnel across ranks. I appreciated all donors who rolled up their sleeves for this life-saving cause. I also appealed to private hospitals to address practices that have affected public trust and created doubts about blood and organ donation. Emphasised that restoring trust through corrective action is essential to encourage more people to come forward and help save lives.
I also flagged off EV vehicles for @hydcitypolice Spandana teams to strengthen their ability to respond swiftly to complaints and Dial-112 calls concerning women and children. These dedicated vehicles will complement regular patrols and Blue Colts, enhancing safety and ensuring timely assistance. I thank all sponsors for their generous support towards this important initiative.

Launched a series of digital initiatives for the CID. The first is the new Citizen Feedback Centre, which will gather feedback from citizens who have availed police station reception services, filed FIRs, undergone police verification for passport applications, or received spot ll contact citizens directly to assess service quality and police behaviour during their interactions. Any issues reported will be reviewed and followed up.
We also launched a digital case management platform connecting all 35 Bharosa Centres, a new CID website, and technology-enabled systems to expedite fingerprint analysis and monitor repeat offenders.
Five volumes of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) covering Bodily Offences, Property Offences, Crimes Against Women and Children, Special and Local Laws, and Other Offences were also released.
Our focus is on ensuring that every citizen receives professional police services while equipping our personnel with the right tools, systems and guidance to deliver better outcomes.

Today, I reviewed preparations for the 3rd All India Police T20 Cricket Tournament 2026–27 (Men), which Telangana Police will host for the first time in Hyderabad from December 10 to 21.
Around 35 Police teams representing States, Union Territories and CAPFs are expected to d the arrangements in detail and constituted around 10 committees to oversee transport, accommodation, security, technical support and other key aspects.
This prestigious national-level event will celebrate sporting excellence and strengthen camaraderie among police forces across the country.
I eagerly look forward to this tournament to get on the field and play!

తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ ఆతిథ్యంలో తొలిసారిగా హైదరాబాద్‌లో డిసెంబర్ 10 నుంచి 21 వరకు నిర్వహించనున్న 3వ అఖిల భారత పోలీస్ టీ20 క్రికెట్ టోర్నమెంట్ 2026–27 (పురుషులు) ఏర్పాట్లను సమీక్షించాను. దేశంలోని వివిధ రాష్ట్రాలు, కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాలు, కేంద్ర సాయుధ పోలీసు బలగాలకు (CAPFs) చెందిన 35 పోలీస్ జట్లు ఈ టోర్నమెంట్‌లో పాల్గొనే అవకాశం ఉంది. రవాణా, వసతి, భద్రత, సాంకేతిక సహకారం తదితర కీలక అంశాలకు సంబంధించి ఏర్పాట్లను క్షుణ్ణంగా సమీక్షించడంతో పాటు, వాటి పర్యవేక్షణ కోసం సుమారు 10 కమిటీలను ఏర్పాటు చేశాం.
ఈ ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక జాతీయ స్థాయి క్రీడా వేడుకలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న పోలీస్ బలగాల మధ్య స్నేహభావాన్ని మరింత బలోపేతం చేస్తుంది.

A blood donation camp was organised this morning at our office in memory and honour of police martyrs, as part of Police Commemoration Week. Many police personnel and staff came forward to donate blood, and their life-saving contributions will benefit patients in need across ll the donors for this life-sustaining act and it reflects the spirit of service is, figuratively and literally, in our blood🩸.
