Days after Microsoft offered buyout packages to over 60,000 workers to cut costs for AI, an internal recording leaked of their Cloud + AI Chief, Scott Guthrie, telling employees they want to bring more foreign talent into 2, 3]
This leaked internal AMA happened just one week after the U.S. Government suspended their PERM visa filings. Guthrie literally told visa and green card holders that Microsoft will “continue to sponsor” them and is fighting the administration to get "clarity". [1]
The administration’s stance has been loud and clear: corporate culture needs to change, and these high-paying tech opportunities need to be preserved for American workers. Yet, the tech giants would rather push out domestic staff with mass buyouts while actively lobbying the government to bypass restrictions and import cheaper labor. [1]
What’s even crazier is looking at the people making these decisions—this man acts like he doesn't even represent or care about the actual makeup of the country he’s operating in. They are completely disconnected from reality.
The corporate globalist playbook never changes. They lay off thousands of citizens, claim they can't afford them, and then immediately turn around to protect and sponsor foreign visas. [1]

Microsoft is quite literally flipping Americans the bird at every step. Why would anyone use their really bad software, when there are thousands of free operating systems and software titles out there (e.g., Ibintui, Mint, Libre Office) to use in their place. You'd have to be crazy!!!

You think? Ever since they released that OS upgrade that bricked some laptops, it was plainly obvious the company had gone off the rails. NO ONE should be using their software -ever! It was once a pioneer. But its a worthless and spent husk of a company now.
I agree. After the 60K voluntary exit offer today, there has got to be a deep dive into what is going on at Microsoft. Between the last few years of layoffs, today’s VEO, and the H-1B shenanigans, this is a deeply troubling pattern in how the company is managing its workforce.

Interesting observations on corporate America since the Indians have arrived en masse. I have a hint for you, this guy gets the "shit end of the stick."
I’ve worked as a janitor in a massive Fortune 500 company’s headquarters for the last 25 years (nepo hire). For the first ten years I worked at the company the men’s room was always clean and easy to maintain. Worst you would get is maybe a couple of drops of piss dribble in front of the urinals from careless shakes, some shit stains in the bowls from greasy shits on the IT floor when they had been pulling all nighters and living off pizza, or soap in the counter when someone got overenthusiastic with the pump.
The women’s bathroom was always the bane of my existence because they would flush sanitary products, cause plugs, and would continue to use the plugged toilet until a mountain of shit and piss formed. That began to change about a decade ago when an Indian guy got hired in C suite, and slowly we started getting Indian managers on all floors. It started with unflushed shitters, but as more and more of them came in it steadily got worse. What used to be a gross, but ultimately low stress reasonably paying job has become a nightmare. The IT floor is the absolute worst.
They will not sit on the toilet and instead stand on the seat to squat. They frequently have explosive diarrhea, which, combined with their habit of squatting, means shit splatters on the seat, floors, and walls. They do not even attempt to clean the mess they made which means the next guy to stand and squat ends up stepping in their assblast and tracking it all over the floor when he walks out of the stall. They wipe with their hands and not the provided paper, I know this because finding shit covered handprints sliding down the walls of the stall is now a daily occurrence.
For some reason, despite not washing their hands near as I can tell, they frequently break open the soap dispenser and steal the giant bags of soap they are connected to. My team and I are the only non-IT employees who will enter the IT floor now, and the turnover is so high that I can’t get a single FNG to stay more than a month. I am considering leaving myself after a quarter century and my entire employment history being with this one company. I am in hell and it smells like feces & microwaved curry.

Can you imagine that it could be possible that an employer could post a want ad that seeks a white male in their 30s for an accountant role? Of course not. That was violated years ago with the advent of EEOC laws. But look what happened last week. The Trump administration is allowing employers to take out ads targeting only H1-B workers (which are predominately Indian) ... We've been set back like 20 years ...
What a difference a week makes! Now the Trump administration says it is LEGAL to put out ads seeking H-1B.
