The choice is: a mayor who spends most of his time jet-setting around the world watching Trump get fake awards and attending bitcoin conferences only to show up during campaign season to scapegoat our most vulnerable and paint the city as a crime ridden dystopia only he can fix
I have been so encouraged by the people I’ve met during this campaign. And it’s clear to me that this election matters, like no other election this city has had.
We’re facing a choice. We can double down on policies that have failed us, or throw up our hands and say nothing can roll up our sleeves together, vote YES on the plebiscite, and make the lasting change I think we all know this city is capable of. Only ABC has committed to delivering it.
Imagine if, instead of being known for the Downtown Eastside, we were known as the city that solved it.
Imagine if, instead of being known worldwide for our drug policies, we were known as a world-class leader in treatment and recovery.
I believe in what this city can be.
Being your Mayor has been the greatest privilege of my life. Let’s make the next four years count, Vancouver.
