2027 C Uzziah Morton has transferred to @CG_Basketball, per source. 6’10” 295lb w/ a 7’1” wingspan to help anchor inside, control the glass & will be a punishing screener for Lonnie Lyons & others.

Big add for the Eagles.

College coaches 👀 2027 guard Malachi Terrell is one to watch at the Grind Session Power Play-In.

He has offers from UT Arlington, Pepperdine, Manhattan, SE Louisiana and Bryant. Now he's with Clinton Grace at Grind Session Power Play-In, and they play J. Addison today at 4 PM CT.

No joke, @CG_Basketball's first 12 of their 18 points have come off dunks or oops. Athletic bunch who will play an uptempo pace this season & rightfully so. Butler commit Lonnie Lyons responsible for much of the action thus far.

@thegrindsession

.@CG_Basketball with a dominant 48-point win over J. Addison to advance & await the winner of Georgia Rise/Grind Prep.

'27 Lonnie Lyons
'27 Malachi Terrell
'28 Cam Shields

All shined in the win. Wealth was spread evenly, but this trio had quite the highlight reel.

J’Lyon Lyons checks 3 major boxes for Ronald Nored:

✅ He thrives in an up-tempo system
✅ He defends
✅ He provides a boost of early momentum on the trail.

The No. 1 ranked prospect in the @PrepHoopsMD 2027 rankings, Lonnie Lyons, has committed to Butler.

The Bulldogs get the deal done after Lyons’ first official visit of the summer. He was expected to take six more.

Instead, the dynamic lead guard will head to Indianapolis and Nored next season.

Aaaaand another one for @CG_Basketball as they continue to make quality additions to the roster. This time w/ 2028 G Luke Arulefela, a 6’1” combo guard who brings a two-way presence & balance as a scorer when needed.

Underrated pick up to serve as a connective piece.

Another addition for @CG_Basketball & it addresses the size in their frontcourt rotation with 2027 C Tylor Jenkins. Jenkins comes to the DMV by way of Paris High School (KY) & will look to make an impact right away for head coach Devin Paige & co.

Significant addition within the DMV landscape for @CG_Basketball as 2027 G Malachi Terrell has transferred to play for head coach Devin Paige & co.

Dynamic, tough-nosed guard who can play on/off ball & raises the floor for the Eagles. Coming off a productive summer w/ @teammusgue Circuit.

2027 @CG_Basketball/@TTOBasketball PG Lonnie Lyons has received an offer from Pitt, per source.

Clinton Grace @CG_Basketball begins its title defense today against New Hope.
CG defeated DeMatha in last year’s title game and is looking to run it back this season.

They return plenty of talent, including J’Lon Lyons, a top-100 player in the 2027 class, along with 2027 wings Carpenter, and 2029 forward Nas Abraham. They also added a major transfer in 2028 forward Jaylen Allen.

This group is looking scary heading into the season and should firmly be in the conversation as one of the top teams in the area.
