Here’s two examples from leaders in the Linux world (and employees of Linux-y companies):
System76’s Principal Engineer (maintainer of Pop!_OS), is boosting statements calling gn to centralize power and influence [within Linux”, saying DHH is “the guy who thinks that brown people don’t belong in society [and] hires the guy who thinks trans people shouldn’t exist”.
Red Hat’s Distinguished Engineer (former Fedora Project Leader) is boosting statements saying that “DHH is actively calling for the genocide of non-white people in Europe”.
Mastodon is overflowing with this right now.
