Last weekend, my mum set up a table in a garden centre with my books. We’ve sold well there in previous years

I don’t know what happened but this week we sold none. NONE. I felt so bad because she worked so hard & has been feeling dispirited

Mike is still no better and has deteriorated more, I just wish he could stay stable. He couldn’t remember our 25th Wedding Anniversary party (which was 7 years ago) and even after I showed him pictures it was all very vague to him. It’s his short term and long term memory that We went back to the doctors last week as he is still waiting for an appointment to be reassessed at the neurological unit which they are pushing for (I feel a complaint to PALS is needed). The doctor gave him something to help him sleep as he has terrible sleep due to his symptoms. I feel for everyone out there not only people who are suffering but also the carers as it can be very cruel.
Mike had to retire early due to FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) he suffers from memory issues, stutters, balance, speech loss, swallowing issues, leg seizures and tremors.
So me Christine The Nut Fairy has had to step up to try and make a go of our little online gift shop.
Mr Lumpy & Friends supporters help us by making donations or purchases from our little online shop which not only helps us it also helps the wildlife organisations that we support.
So I ask you next time you’re thinking of buying a gift or something for yourself please take a look at our shop plus we have 15% off at the moment!
I’ve done my best with a range of quality goods at reasonable prices and you would be supporting a small business.
