4,000. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who follows, reposts, comments, argues, remembers, discovers… and above all, keeps the music alive.

What started as a little Bruce Springsteen corner has become a pretty damn nice community.

4,000 thanks. And we keep rolling. 🎸🛣️

October 25, 1985 — Sun City, the landmark anti-apartheid album spearheaded by Little Steven, was released.

Bruce Springsteen joined an extraordinary lineup of artists, including Bob Dylan, Bono, Peter Gabriel, Miles Davis and many others.

October 25, 2019 — Bruce Springsteen’s Western Stars hits theaters.

Filmed in his own barn with a full orchestra, it’s a beautiful journey through the American West.

And what better way to close it than with Glen Campbell’s classic Rhinestone Cowboy?

Bruce the cowboy. 🤠🎸

50 years ago, filming a concert on 8mm must have been quite a challenge!

Luckily, someone did. Here’s a rare piece of footage of Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, October 25, 1976. 🎸

I’m taking on a giant: “Racing in the Street.” A monumental song, and Bruce’s own favourite.

I’ve carried these images in my head for thirty years. Now, at last, I can bring them to life.

"Old man, I'm a lot like you" : en février 2015, Jimmy Fallon rendait hommage à un de ses musiciens favoris dans son émission de NBC - en réservant une sacrée surprise aux téléspectateurs. L'animateur du Tonight Show montrait au passage toute l'étendue de son talent. #NeilYoung

October 24, 1980 — Seattle, Washington.

Remember my story about Bruce walking into the Old Timer’s Café, paying a dollar to get in, and ending up on stage with the Lost Highway Band?

Well, here’s the sequel.

The following night, Bruce and the E Street Band played the Seattle dedicated The River to the musicians he’d met the night before.

Outside the arena, a young Charles R. Cross was handing out 10,000 free copies of a four-page magazine devoted to Bruce.

Its name? Backstreets.

What began that night became an extraordinary 42-year adventure, documenting Bruce’s music, concerts, and history.

Although Backstreets ceased publication in 2023, its legacy lives on. The magazine’s efforts to collect and preserve Springsteen memorabilia helped lay the foundations for the Bruce Springsteen Archives at Monmouth University.

A remarkable contribution to preserving the history we all love.

So here’s to Charles R. Cross, Christopher Phillips, and everyone who kept Backstreets alive for more than four decades.

And to think it all started on a night when Bruce dedicated The River to a few musicians he’d met in a bar for a dollar.

Thank you, Backstreets. ❤️

Bruce Springsteen’s vaults seem endless… and lucky for us! 😎

One year ago today, on October 24, 2025, Nebraska ’82: Expanded Edition was released, finally opening the door to the legendary Electric Nebraska sessions, previously unheard recordings, and a remarkable new re album.

More than 40 years after Nebraska first appeared, there were still surprises waiting to be discovered.

Here’s a fascinating look behind the scenes. Enjoy!

Whenever I come across footage from the Miami Vice ’85 shoot, it looks more and more like a remake of the pilot, “Brother’s Keeper.” So, hardly an original story.

But why? The pilot already had a movie-sized budget and succeeded on so many levels. Why tell the same story again instead of giving these characters a new one?

A fan of the series? Absolutely. But I have no particular expectations for MV85.

« Première fois » ? Toulouse, 2012. Hyper Cacher, 2015. Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, 2016.

I’ve always dreamed of having Bruce Springsteen and the full E Street Band play a private concert for me and my friends.

My biggest concern was finding a venue large enough to accommodate them all.

But after watching this performance at Howard Stern’s, I realize a small room n for a song like Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out! 😂

Now I just need to convince Bruce…

October 23, 2024 — Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band on The Howard Stern Show.

Every time I hear If I Should Fall Behind, my mind goes straight back to Jonathan Demme’s beautiful Blood Brothers video, with the E Street Band members taking turns at the microphone.

Nearly 30 yearperform it again at Stern’s brings back that same feeling.

Long Walk Home — a song from Magic (2007) that has only grown more powerful and relevant with time.

A magnificent performance, with Bruce and the E Street Band at their very best.
