Zach Howell was an absolute flamethrower at Drury and he just went off for 28 points (8 3s) and eight rebounds in Bowling Greenโs road win over Georgia State. Howell will be one of the best shooters in the country.

Takeaways from West Georgia practice:
1) Really good coaches like Dave Moore, that donโt make excuses about resources, are really valuable in this era - UWG has put together a really good roster with โless thanโ resources for now and will be VERY competitive in conference
2) everywhere, retention of good players is HUGE in this era, and Chas Lewless and Kenneth Chime are great players that produced last year
3) JUCO, JUCO, JUCO - They have done what a lot of Mid Major schools should
do, recruit JUCO - Hidden Gems
4) Jauquin Dixon from Malcolm X College averaged 19 PPG and looks like an All Conference Talent at this level, REALLY talented
5) They have recruited from winning programs like Vermont and Hofstra - Even if they werenโt HUGE production guys, they were rotational players on winning teams that have been coached by high level coaches - VALUABLE
