Just completed Lamine Yamal 2026 Prizm World Cup Sticker Rainbow (complete colors) on chain. World Cup winning year release.
A full circle moment. The first sports card I ever came across is during my mid school circa ’96 for a KG sticker which might not be an official release.
for Panini World Cup stickers that bring friends and families together to trade and complete albums. Since 1970. Well known in Europe.
I was also in the US and started to collect cards from secondary market when Panini America entered US market and I was there witnessing Prizm was inaugurated into sports card ecosystem in 2012. I’m probably the only one then to complete multiple Prizm Gold sets: Downtown bound, Lakers subset and Lottery pick double rookie class subset.
I was also there on day 1 to participate Panini’s first week of Blockchain Dutch auction and won the KG (matching to above which I just realized) on first week of 2020. I only entered #PaniniBlockchain secondary market last month of 2021 (tried to get multiple Ohtani Prizm Gold and GV earlier but to no avail).
Fast forward to this Monday, WC stickers and Prizm and Blockchain come together in one. It has all the nostalgia and meanings in one. This is partly why I spent a lot of time to try to get everyone participate this phenomenal drop, know the on-chain mechanics and enjoy the fun and almost free experience.
I’m also big on Yamal since day 1 when he broke into international spotlight during 2024 EURO which happened in Berlin and I got to watch the Final in person.
Yamal at 19 years old becomes the only teenager to win both EURO and World Cup in Futbol history. I also watched Yamal at World Cup Final in person. My son is also 19 and one day off from Yamal (which I also just realized).
KG referred above happened to be 19 years old when he entered NBA.
From knowing Yamal at EURO and missed out his Kaboom RC 1/1 (which helped me winning TC UCC Super Auto 1/1) to winning Yamal Prizm World Cup Nebula 1/1 physical/PBC pairing days before WC Final. Two of his biggest achievements coincided with my biggest hobby moments pertaining his cards. I also didn’t get his Prizm WC Black 1/1, because I prefer Nebula more to the best true of 5 black variations.
So this Prizm WC Sticker Black 1/1 is also my first Yamal Prizm Black 1/1. I was quite busy, distracted in multiple ways (work, son’s university application, helping outreaching for this product and weeklong vacation in Norway) and landing such a card always depends on luck and timing. At least I had a fair chance and strong competition to properly price discover this card for me, for the seller and for the community and for digital asset class itself at this very moment. It’s quite an important moment given the above contexts. Very blessed to complete this sixpack and completed colorways of Yamal.

🚨 Next #PaniniBlockchain pack release on 10/26 is EV+ and unmissable, here is why: Read in full and AMA in comments:
- union of 2 prestigious lineages: WC stickers x Prizms (last 2 posts).
- base set only, no fluff
- friendly, 5 BC cards/pack at $8
- 2 on-chain mechanics with llows:
1️⃣ passive (spend promo): buying singles and net buying packs will get rewarded for top 300+, including 2022 Mosaic Road to world cup packs with massive Messi and (debut) Haaland base 1/1 unpulled.
2️⃣ proactive (burn to get coveted packs): 3 out of each pack in 2026 WC sticker Prizm BC pack will be burnable commons /501 (until 50% burned), each commands $3 now. ‼️ You read it right, spend $8 to get $9, with two more rarer cards to show for.
Each burnable can be burned into 10 Blockpoint/BP. 100 BP can buy 😱 1 BC pack of 2022 WC Prizm which PBC managed to salvage, where 4 Ronalo Prizm Golds unpulled including 1/10 (last sale $40k one year ago before market repricing this year).
N.B.: (ignorable on first reading) Each pack of the 2022 WC Prizm has 2 commons which could be burnable (if not 50% burned already, most are, 2237 burnable left, not a lot, 487 Messi, 427 Ronaldo, 453 Mbappe etc, so burning mechanism here is negligible and can be ignored).
🧮 160320 WC 2026 Prizm Sticker packs to be released on Monday /Oct 26 (common card burning available on Friday 4 days later).
🔢 34075 WC 2022 Prizm packs will be purchasable via 100 BP on also Friday.
Max BP from this new product will be 960 x 250 x 10 =2,400,000 (where 960 is the set size, 250 is half of 501 print run), so they can only get 24000 WC 2022 Prizm packs (but less no one burns Messi, Yamal etc) while burnables elsewhere in the ecosystem is hard to find and costly ($3+). So this effect will last for a while.
There could be a rush to burn on Friday if more than half of print runs of each common in 2026 Sticker are pulled, as not burnable after 250.
Singles especially 1/1, /5 and /10 of desirable players are valuable.
Secondary value of 2022 Prizm pack will be $30+ due to cost, currently floor $70 as only 1516 around but will crash to $30-50+ as more are released via above mechanics.
Burnable market for 2026 Sticker could stay at $3 or increase, or dip to $2 as there will be many unleashed at once, jeeters could hunt liquidity and also a risk of becoming unburnable if rushing to burn on Friday with 50%+ pulled.
One can do many things in this dynamic:
👉Buy 2026 pack to flip, or to open to sell burnable /501, or open to burn /501 on Friday to get BP, or to keep.
👉Buy nice singles, or to complete set as this is first time original famous WC sticker comes on chain, a family tradition since 1970 in physical hobby.
👉Only /251 set possible for silver, after burn.
👉Use BP via burning to buy 2022 WC prizm packs from store, to open for jackpot, keep, or flip. Or simply buy from secondary as supply is out and floor price reasonable.
👉All of these are further rewarded by spend promo if top 300+.
The flywheel is not direct, as one cannot immediately burn 2026 commons to buy more of same packs. But almost so as frictionless setting, large community, liquidity for burnables will allow one to spend $8 to immediately get $9 (at least before mass behavior changes on floor of burnables) and keep doing the same.
Because of the above, if well understood, we have seen 2500+ pack buyers at peak, this release despite largest volume in years, will get sold out pretty quick and secondary pack price will be higher (NFA) due to low price, sold out and EV+ (chase +burn value) and on-chain mechanics x2.
I genuinely hope more hobbyists get to experience this. Either at primary or at secondary. Will try to do at least one IG live + one X space before the next Monday drop.
Bestest of Panini Europe stickers x bestest of Panini America Prizm in one and on chain.
