If Judeo-Christian values were so fundamental to the creation of United States, how come that term wasn’t really used until the 1950’s? Seems like we were doing way better as a Christian country, and I’m not a Christian.

It is just another broken promise in the making.
NEW: President Trump reiterates that he will move to Israel if the American people “turn on him.”

The lack of safety in the US is because of your people, not aimed at them.

The weaponized victimhood doesn’t work anymore. Take your schtick somewhere else.

How many countries would that be? Have a little emotional and self awareness. If you get in a fight at every bar you go to, it probably isn’t bars.

It is you. Bye
As a Jew, I am terrified of these newly elected antisemitic politicians that will be running our country after January.

America is no longer safe for us Jews.

Better: We are SORRY. We're getting out of Iran, not funding Israel OR merging with them (VIA the NDAA). ALL we care about is YOU. Your economic survival, prosperity, and our culture, heritage, and language...AND your Children's future. Trump is resigning. So is Komodo Lutnick, Rubio, bobo Hegseth, Ratcliff, and that retarded crosseyed Indian. And, the Kill Shots are off the market, and all PHARMA CEO's soon prosecuted. And, I'm not pardoning ANY of them.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.

So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."

Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.

There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.

But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.

Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:

1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel

Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)

In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.

The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.

If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.

But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.

I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Paternal gramps was on this Flight, and my maternal grandfather trained the FO. Wild flight
On April 28, 1988, a Boeing 737 approached Maui, Hawaii, with eighteen feet of its passenger cabin ripped open to the sky.

The roof was gone. Much of the left cabin wall was gone. Passengers were sitting in their seats with nothing above them but the Pacific sky.

And somehow, flying.

Thirteen minutes earlier, Aloha Airlines Flight 243 had been cruising at 24,000 feet between Hilo and Honolulu with ninety-five people aboard.

First Officer Madeline Tompkins was flying the aircraft while Captain Robert Schornstheimer monitored the flight.

At approximately 1:46 PM, the unthinkable happened.

Years of repeated pressurization cycles, corrosion, and undetected fatigue cracks had weakened the fuselage of the nineteen-year-old Boeing 737-200.

The airplane had completed an astonishing 89,680 flights.

As it leveled off, multiple cracks in the fuselage skin suddenly joined together.

A massive section of the upper passenger cabin tore away in the rushing airflow.

Flight attendant Clarabelle Lansing, standing near the fifth row, was swept out of the aircraft.

She would never be found.

Captain Schornstheimer turned toward the cabin and saw that the cockpit door had disappeared.

Beyond it was open sky where the first-class ceiling should have been.

He immediately took control of the airplane.

But the damage was far worse than the missing roof.

Five consecutive floor beams had broken completely. Two more were severely cracked. Sections of the passenger floor had been pushed upward by as much as four inches.

The passenger oxygen system had been severed.

The airplane rocked from side to side, and the flight controls felt disturbingly loose.

Why did the Boeing 737 not break apart completely?

The surviving lower fuselage and remaining structural connections were still holding the aircraft together.

Crucially, the hydraulic flight-control system had survived the destruction.

But nobody in that cockpit could know how much longer the damaged structure would hold.

The roaring wind was so loud that the pilots initially communicated with hand signals.

Schornstheimer deployed the speed brakes and began an emergency descent. At one point, Tompkins observed the aircraft descending at approximately 4,100 feet per minute.

Below 10,000 feet, the captain began slowing the aircraft for an emergency landing at Kahului Airport on Maui.

Then another problem developed.

The left engine failed.

Investigators would later link that failure to badly corroded engine-control cables stressed by the distorted cabin floor.

Now they had only one functioning engine.

When the crew lowered the landing gear, the green light confirming that the nose wheel was locked down refused to illuminate.

They tried the manual extension procedure.

Still no green light.

Schornstheimer could not be certain the nose landing gear would support the aircraft when it touched the runway.

And the damaged airplane became harder to control when he tried to slow below 170 knots.

So he made his decision.

He would land at 170 knots, with partial flaps, on one engine, with a severely damaged fuselage and no positive nose-gear indication.

At 1:58:45 PM, Aloha Airlines Flight 243 touched down on Runway 02 at Kahului Airport.

The nose gear held.

Schornstheimer used the remaining engine's thrust reverser and the wheel brakes to bring the airplane to a stop.

The emergency evacuation began.

Of the ninety-five people who had departed Hilo, ninety-four survived.

Eight suffered serious injuries.

Clarabelle Lansing never returned home.

The investigation revealed that inadequate maintenance inspections had allowed widespread fatigue damage to go undetected.

It was a failure that changed how the aviation industry approached aging aircraft.

But on that afternoon in Hawaii, two pilots had brought a catastrophically damaged airplane home.

The roof was gone.

The left engine was gone.

And nearly the entire forward cabin had been torn open.

But ninety-four people walked away.

Thirteen minutes of extraordinary flying had made the difference.

Anyone who was in favor of the Iran War on November 2, 2026, should have no place in leadership in the conservative movement going forward. We welcome their votes but not their voices.

They chose the Iran War over the United States. They are, by definition, NOT America First.

The MAGA political brand is dead but America First as a movement and principle lives on and must live on. If the Republican Party will have any future, and if the country itself will have any future, it will be through America First.
