Dr. Ruchika Talwar (@RuchikaTalwarMD) opens with Dr. Karen Stern (@KSternAZ) on why the field is rethinking the operation, how fast the technology has moved since residency, and why different for a patient who wants a perfectly clean CT than for one who wants a few years without a stone episode and no stent. They also retire the old dusting versus fragmenting camps in favor of an approach built around the patient.
