Took a bit longer than I thought but here it is…
“When the camera comes on us at the end of your debut, I’m going to be really animated and pretend to give you detailed advice like you’ve never played football before. But it’s just for show and I’ll just be reciting the lyrics to Gravel Pit by Wu Tang Clan. Go along with it.”

He knows. He knows Carrick hasn’t got long left so he’s comfortable coming out with this stuff to get the fans on his side.

Carrick won’t be in charge by the end of the next international break. Bookmark it.
Bruno Fernandes calling out Carrick & the #MUFC staff here

"It's a decision from the staff to not press man to man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, wait for them, but sometimes when you give space to these teams they get confidence.

On whether he is saying Michael Carrick got his tactics wrong: "That's on the manager and staff to see, not me. Sometimes you have to be more brave under pressure, take the risk of pressing high and making them uncomfortable. As you saw with them [Como], the centre-back was coming to mark me in my own half. We need to do that as a team but we were unable to.

"A team that plays through the middle with small connections, if you give them too much time and space then they can hurt you out wide."

City always officially class this a sell-out because Khaldoon buys up all the empty seats 😂
Manchester City’s Champions League attendances are simply bizarre. 🤨

I remember them back in League 1 with higher attendances, I don’t get it at all… 😬

Why the shitting fuck does Araujo keep moving over to the left?! Four or five times he’s done it now.

Can we make 9 outfield subs at HT because Rio aside, none of the others look remotely arsed.

“Not anymore”. He probably had some doubts about playing on the right but I think it’s a testament to his mentality and ability that he’s adapted so quickly to the point that he no longer has a preference.

I’ll hold my hands up - I had doubts but he (and Iraola) proved me wrong.
Rio Ngumoha on whether he has a preferred wing:

“No, not anymore to be fair. I think now I’m getting to grips with the right wing and I’m liking it. It’s giving me another tool, another asset, and it’s good.”

Yoro just got a free kick there for being a weakling 😭 Tried to grab the Leeds player, wasn’t strong enough, lost his grip and fell over and the ref gave him a pity free kick. Leeds were away on the attack too.

Bruno Fernandes is hilarious. Commits a foul that’s a blatant yellow card, then chases after the ref screaming at him like he’s the injured party. Just keeps going on and on, gets (rightly) booked when ball goes out of play and then carries on screaming at the ref.

Joker.

He was great again today. Thiago is strong and physical and awkward to deal with but Jacquet stood up to him and then some. Another tick in the box.

Good result, good in flashes, some very poor finishing/decision making in final third. First time they’ve lost at home since February so it’s a hard place to get a win.

Two good goals, should have scored at least 4, thought Rio caused them all sorts of problems when he came on.
