Unpopular opinion: We don't have a saturation problem in content. We have a showing up problem.

You could build the easiest tools on earth and most people still won't use them after a few days because it didn't pay off overnight.

If you're consistent, you're already ahead of most people.

Nobody who edits for a living is mad about tools that kill the boring parts.

The problem is we take the entire creative process and throw it all under the umbrella of "editing."

Here's the reality.

Trimming dead space isn't the creative part of editing.
Captions aren't the creative part, unless you're doing real typography work.
Syncing A and B cam isn't the creative part.

That's factory work.

Editing is the choices and the creative direction. It's finding a way to tell a good story.

Automate the factory work and you get more time for the creative part. And your output goes up.

CapCut is integrating with ChatGPT, and I don’t think people realize how much this could change content creation.

One of the biggest things holding creators back has always been editing. It’s tedious, time-consuming, and not everyone knows how to turn an idea into a finished video.

Now imagine being able to literally talk through your creative vision with AI and have it edit that video for you.

If you’re not taking your upload schedule seriously, you’re going to get left behind.

We’re entering a world where even the most inexperienced creators will have access to tools that previously took years to master.

Authenticity still matters. Good content still matters. But creators who learn to use these tools and consistently show up are going to have a massive advantage.

We’re excited to announce our new CapCut plugin is coming soon to @ChatGPT at CapCutWorldLA.

The plugin brings CapCut's video editing and generation tools alongside ChatGPT. You can start with an idea in ChatGPT, bring it to life with the CapCut plugin right inside ChatGPT, then o CapCut's web editor to refine, share and publish.

By bringing the CapCut product you already love and use in ChatGPT, we're making content creation more seamless and efficient.

What this means for you: the gap between "I have an idea" and "I posted it" is about to shrink a lot.

The creators who win won't be the best editors. They'll be the ones with the clearest ideas and a plan.

That's exactly why I built the free Idea Bank and also the Content Planner.

To all the creators out there, I hope this week you land that partnership you’ve been working toward, secure your first sponsorship, finally get monetized on that platform, or have that one video you’ve worked so hard on take off.

There’s plenty of room and opportunity at the table for everybody.

I wanna see you guys win. 🤝

This AI voice is actually insane.

About to solve so much loneliness in the Call of Duty community.

New Upload just went live!

Switched to 3 videos this week. I have been having a blast lately on all of these. From ideas, to putting videos together and the Thumbnail Designs. Feel like we are really locked in at the moment!

The GoXLR is the most overrated purchase in streaming.

You're paying $350 for sound effect buttons, a gain problem an $80 booster fixes, and software the company basically abandoned.

The Rode Streamer X is a substantially better investment.

YouTube is finally starting to roll out the ability for viewers to customize their own feeds.

As viewers become more intentional about what they want to watch, it’s more important than ever for creators to make their content easy to discover.

Some of the streamers I see n YouTube right now aren’t using overedited thumbnails or crazy titles designed to trick someone into clicking.

They’re just making it incredibly clear what their content is and who it’s for.

Think about this.

If someone wants to watch a chill Call of Duty stream in the evening, or have a specific game playing in the background while they work, how easy are you making it for YouTube to recognize that your content is exactly what they’re looking for?

That’s the part I think a lot of creators overlook.

It’s not always about getting EVERYONE to click. It’s about making sure the RIGHT people can find you.

Titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and the actual content itself all play a role in helping YouTube understand who your videos are for.

This has always been important, but as viewers gain more control over what appears in their feeds, I think it’s only going to become more important.

Stop thinking about how to get your video in front of everyone. Start thinking about how to become exactly what someone is looking for.

If your views dipped and you're wondering whether YouTube is burying you, start here. Most of the time it's a discovery problem, not a shadow ban, and your analytics will tell you which.

This is dope. So I tested a feed to what we typically watch on YouTube.

No shock a couple of the homies pop up in the top.

Already discovering new people I never seen before.

This is the cleanest breakdown of getting into X creator payouts I've seen.

The problem I see with most creators on X is they treat it like a funnel to every other platform. Every post is "I'm live, go watch" or "full video on YouTube." A little taste, then a link out.

Millions of people are scrolling X every single day. The content can live here. You can have the conversation here and everywhere else.

Talked to a gaming creator recently who posts game clips all day and couldn't hit 100K verified impressions in 90 days. I looked at his page and it was just a TikTok feed. No opinions. No stories. No dialogue.

Impressions from scrolling aren't the goal. Give people a reason to stop and talk back.

We did it. 🎉

X just let me into creator payouts. 🤑

Sep 15: 292K views from verified users.
Oct 20: 500K.

What actually worked:

1- Post more. I went from 1 post every 3 days to 2 a day.
2- Spread them out. Posts at least 6+ hours apart.
3- Rerun your misses. Same data, new - Give people something to copy. My 2 prompt posts got 1,300+ bookmarks each.
5- A few posts do the work. 17 posts got 64% of my views.

What didn't work: posting about my own X stats. 😅

Thank you to everyone who read, replied and shared. 🙏

First payout is coming. I'll share the exact number.

Not saying don't funnel from X at all. That's not the point.

X has been huge for me over the years, especially when I was focused on streaming. Talk about what's trending here, then keep the conversation going on stream. That's pulled people to my website, my YouTube videos, and affiliate links.

The difference is every post still lands on its own. It has a point, a story, a conclusion. If you want more, the link is there. If not, you already got enough.

And this isn't just X. Every platform is competing for retention right now. If your whole strategy is using one platform as an ad for another while each one is becoming a powerhouse tool for creators, you're doing it wrong.

Stop trying to manipulate people into caring. Give them a reason to care.

I don’t think people realize how insane this is for YouTube creators.

We grew up with networks deciding what got aired and who got seen.

Imagine saying, “I’m going to upload my video to MTV and see if people discover it.”

That’s YouTube. And now it’s dominating TVs.
YouTube seems unstoppable right now. Incredible chart.
