@AlmaMontealvo @BartonBuff @IrvingLibraries What a fun way to bring Adela’s Mariachi Band to life! 🎶🪘 We love seeing students turn reading into creating, coding, and making music with Makey Makey. Great work, 3rd graders! 💛

@BartonBuff kindergarteners celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with música, cultura & lots of alegría!💃 After reading The Life of Selena, students danced along to “Como la Flor” and celebrated the Queen of Tejano music! 🌹🎶📚 @IrvingLibraries

What a GREAT time we had w/ the @BartonBuff Book 📖 Club!

Sts learned about Wanda Díaz Merced and how she channeled her vision loss to truly LISTEN to the sounds 🔊 of space 🪐!

Taking Wanda as their inspiration, sts ventured to their immersion lab to listen👂for themselves!

Look what a little creativity can do! @BartonBuff 1st graders used @AdobeExpress to celebrate Dot Day and bring their digital dots to life! 💻🎨✨ @IrvingLibraries

Read it. Build it. Code it. SCORE! ⚽️

Today, @BartonBuff 5th graders read Messi Magic and then successfully coded their @LEGO_Education Quirky Creation Big Goal! @IrvingLibraries @IISD_iLearn

We had so much fun spending the last few days @BartonBuff ! Throughout the school we found sts thriving in coding 💻 , robotics 🚗 , and reading in fun, cozy spaces 📖!

Top that off with some visits to the @IglooVision lab and we’d say it was time well spent!

TEKS + Lab = ❤️ ❤️
