Israel’s defenders: It’s not a genocide

Israelis: Palestinians must leave or we’ll kill them
A young blonde woman with an American accent in Israel says that all the Arabs must be kicked out of Gaza because it is "our land" since "God commanded us to take it."

The Palestinians should be kicked out to any other Arab state, she continues, except Jordan, Lebanon, and e ours."

"Or we will kill them," she adds

Can we stop pretending that this is a marginal view in Israel? That these are the comments of a fringe minority?

They are not. Israel has been on this path for quite some time.

Western governments know it fully - yet they continue to fund and enable Israel's genocidal policies.

What exactly would Trump hope to achieve with another big attack on Iran?

Netanyahu’s theory of victory failed spectacularly: no regime collapse, no defections, no uprising or meaningful domestic instability. Instead, it was US regional bases & critical regional infrastructure that got destroyed. And Washington burned through vast amounts of very expensive and hard to produce munitions.

Make no mistake, nothing the US can throw at Iran now could compare to what it had in February. Not least because of all the equipment and bases and supply lines it has lost since then.

Unless I guess for Trump it really is fool me once, fool me endlessly.

Does she know that not all Jews support the genocide?
'Nobody Wants This' creator Erin Foster responds to star Adam Brody saying he supports "a free Palestine."

"While I love Adam, I also disagree with him, and that's okay [...] I want our Jewish fans to know that I see you, and I hear you and I understand how you feel. And the d always will be a love letter to Judaism"

Foster says on the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast.

Full on crisis underway in Israel as the military is pushing back on a Netanyahu order re Iran

Ben-Gvir and Smotrich are not aberrations on the margins of Israeli politics.
They reflect a strain of Zionism deeply embedded in the Jewish Israeli electorate.
A March 2025 survey reported in Haaretz found that 82% of Jewish Israelis supported the forced expulsion/ethnic ns from Gaza, while 56% supported expelling Palestinian CITIZENS of Israel.
Those figures shatter the comforting illusion that the problem begins and ends with a handful of extremists.
The three leading contenders—Naftali Bennett, Gadi Eisenkot, and Netanyahu—share broadly similar positions on Gaza, the occupied West Bank, illegal settlements, and the systematic repression, subjugation, and oppression of all Palestinians. The central issue is not personality but policy, rooted in Zionist ideology: different leaders, substantial continuity.
Any debate over the Abraham Accords must confront this same underlying reality. The Arab countries’ joint statement identifies Israel’s illegal military occupation as the principal source of regional insecurity and instability.
On five occasions, Israel has rejected offers of normalization and security guarantees involving all Arab countries and additional Muslim states because those offers required an end to its brutal military occupation, now in its 59th year.
The fundamental obstacle is not the absence of a diplomatic opening. It is Israel’s REFUSAL to end the MILITARY occupation.
Replacing its prime minister is no substitute for changing that policy—and without that change, a new leader would represent continuity, not a break with the status quo.
I said I wasn’t going to weigh in on who should be prime minister of Israel as that is a decision for Israeli citizens. I did, however, want to share one point of view from the perspective of someone who has an understanding of how Israel is perceived in America.

Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have caused Israel enormous reputational damage with their statements and actions which are presented in the global media as representing the voice and will of all Israelis.

As such, a government formed without Ben-Gvir and Smotrich will send a message to the rest of the world that Israel is turning a new page.

This will allow Israel to rebuild lost credibility, increase the opportunity for an expansion of the Abraham Accords, and enjoy a better relationship with Democrats and Republicans and Americans at large.

I don’t know how to describe the extent of the helplessness and anguish we are experiencing right now. We are not asking for luxury, nor are we even dreaming of a dignified life. We are simply trying to find something to feed our children, while soaring prices consume whatever little ability we have left to keep going.

For many days, I have stood helpless in front of more than 18 children of my nephews and nieces. Children whose only fault in this life is that they were born in Gaza. Today, they are being deprived of their most basic rights, to eat when they are hungry and to sleep without being haunted by the fear of going hungry the next day.

How painful it is to feel responsible for children, to see their needs right before your eyes, and yet be unable to provide even the simplest necessities for them. How heartbreaking it is to watch their childhood being taken away, not because they lack dreams, but because you can no longer afford to buy food.

I am writing to you today with whatever strength I have left, desperately pleading with you to help me afford food for these little ones.
