Here is Twitter... but better.

Meet: Goftegooo

It's the social media platform I've been building, still in closed beta.

But what makes it so unique?

You're probably tired of following one story across a dozen Telegram channels or Twitter accounts, in multiple languages, never rmed or just reposted everywhere...

That's why I built Goftegooo.

It puts every report into one event and shows how many sources reported it independently.

Something happened, but it's reported only by 1 source? It's unconfirmed.

Multiple people talking about it? Then it's corroborated.

Was a piece of news debunked or denied? Goftegooo will recognise it and tell you that the story is denied, and you can even turn on notifications for it!

Of course this is just 1 slice of the whole cake... follow @GoftegoooX for more updates!

PS: No shadow bans here! :)
I’m really excited to tell you that I’ve been working on a project which I’ll announce soon.

It’s a project to solve shadowbans on social media and combat fake news. 👀

I’m going to set up a startup campaign soon for it.

Iran’s IRGC-Navy announced that 2 violating oil tankers, traveling through an illegal route in the Strait of Hormoz, collided with sea mines.

One of the tankers was a supertanker and caught fire after a massive explosion and is currently burning.

The tankers had turned off their AIS systems and were attempting to secretly pass through the Strait of Hormoz with the support of the US army.

Iranian TV has shown a segment about an Iron & steel expert working in Iran’s missile and drone industry, who was arrested by the Iranian intelligence for working with ‘Israel.’

He was contacted by ‘Israeli’ intelligence through Instagram & established contact through Telegram. He leaked sensitive production details during the war.

The facility then, was subsequently targeted. The IRGC Intelligence then arrested him on espionage charges. x.com/mjrs__97/statu…

Sadegh Koushak, an Iranian expert, made some interesting remarks about why Iran's deterrence has eroded.

The problem was never weapons, but will.

He says the decline began after the assassination of Martyr Qassem Soleimani. ‘Israel’ and the US had braced themselves for a heavy response was limited, and so this made them understand that, while Iran has the capabilities, it lacks “political will” to use them.

He gave the Iran–Iraq War as a counterexample, when conventional weapons alone bought decades of deterrence because the resolve was clear.

What followed, gave a clear pattern from there on:
• There was no response to the killing of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh
• Silence after strikes on drone and missile sites, such as hitting the base in Kermanshah, which state TV blamed on lightning),
• After October 7, senior commanders were killed in Syria with little to no reaction
• Strike on Iran's consulate in Damascus, and Iran’s response which caused no Israeli casualties

He says the responses Iran did, didn't restore deterrence.

Notably, he blames Iran's political decision making (which has been Rouhani’s administration for the most part) rather than the military itself, which he says had the means to respond. I’m also going to add here that martyrs Hajizadeh & co had iterated in the past that they wanted to do certain actions, but their hands were tied.

❗️ Iran’s Army spokesman confirmed that Su-35 fighter jets purchase is complete and pilot training had been completed before the war, but the aircrafts had not arrived in time. Iran expects to receive them after the war and strengthen its Air Force with more advanced aircraft and d the interview:

• Interviewer: We were expecting to see our Su-35 fighter jets in this war. And perhaps one of the criticisms being raised is that, had these Su-35s arrived earlier, many of the things that happened in Iranian airspace might never have happened.

Because when our pilots were able to carry out operations like those using F-5s and Su-24s, surely if they had Su-35s at their disposal, the situation would have been very different, no?

- Army Spokesman: Yes, look, the issue of the Su-35 has been under discussion for several years. We had already taken the necessary steps and completed the preliminary work, including the purchasing process, signing contracts, and related matters, which were pursued through the relevant authorities both outside the Army and within it.

The necessary arrangements for pilot training and education had also been completed, and there were no longer any issues in that regard.

In fact, these aircraft were supposed to arrive before the war. And God willing, we will certainly receive them after this war and upgrade our air fleet.

• Interviewer: To the extent that you’re allowed to disclose, can you tell us what the Army’s plans are for developing the Air Force?

- Army Spokesman: As I mentioned, one of our plans is to introduce more advanced aircraft into our fleet, such as the Su-35. As I said, the purchasing process and related arrangements had already been finalized before this war.

We have also made progress domestically. Of course, purchasing and acquiring equipment from abroad will give us greater access to advanced technologies, which we can also use as a foundation for our own development.

God willing, after the war, the Army’s Air Force will emerge stronger, equipped with more advanced aircraft and more sophisticated equipment.

Iran’s top security chief, Mohsen Rezaei:

“[Regarding negotiations with the US & Vance letter] No new decision has been made at the government level.

Of course, there is currently a debate over whether, if war breaks out again, we should maintain our previous doctrine or change it. However, no new decision has been officially adopted by the government.

But the Iranian people have demands and are looking for a logical explanation. After all, they see that the enemy has attacked all our nuclear facilities. On what grounds did they do so? We cooperated fully with all IAEA inspections. We responded positively to their requests and helped them carry out inspections. They had cameras at all our sites.

So, naturally, when people see all of this, their question to us is: Why do you want to continue down the same path?”
Iran’s top security chief, Mohsen Rezaei:

“I’ve read the letter from Vance, but have not yet responded to it.

Their tone has completely changed, which is a good sign. The Iranian people have solidified their victory.“

2 weeks ago I posted that Iran seriously warned a group of countries in case of renewed aggression on Iran.

Today’s statement of Iran’s leader giving the green light to respond to any threat without any geographical limits, means acts of sabotage, assassination or even ring their aggression on Iran will no longer be met with similar responses. Instead, they will trigger a wider response, beyond the Persian Gulf and the West-Asian region.

Some time ago, Iran’s military commanders had also expressed that a weak point Iran had during the war was the limit on Iran’s missiles (whether surface or anti-ship) and this limitation was going to be addressed.

The leader also mentioned US/Israel’s “intangible assets” are among Iran’s target bank, alongside physical ones.

This likely refers to financial and cyber networks.

Iran has been warning countries that could be affected by this since some time ago.
Iran has conveyed a serious warning, different to past warnings, to a certain group of countries in case of a renewed war, according to sources close of mine.

While I can’t name the receivers, it looks like it was a very serious warning.

The media team of the Iranian leader’s office published the following graphic and quoted Iran’s latest powerful sentence:

“Respond immediately and effectively to any enemy threat, without geographical restrictions.”

The graphic is depicting a ballistic missile probably hinting at increased range.

Full statement:

“During the meeting, the Leader described “intelligent combat readiness to confront enemies with overwhelming force” as an essential requirement for “maximum deterrence.” He ordered that threats of any level or type must be met with an immediate and effective response, without geographical restrictions.

Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei emphasized: “If the enemies once again launch military or terrorist attacks, it will be the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation that determine when and under what conditions those attacks end.”

The Leader also emphasized strengthening military intelligence architecture, deepening indigenous defense capabilities in both doctrine and tactics, developing modern defense and security capabilities through emerging technologies, and reinforcing spiritual strength and the spirit of jihad, alongside continuous efforts to meet the welfare and logistical needs of the Armed Forces.

In another directive, the Commander-in-Chief ordered the target database to be updated so that all types of tangible and intangible American-Zionist enemy assets would be within the reach of Iran’s Armed Forces.

He described national support for the Armed Forces as a pillar of deterrence against foreign adversaries hostile to Iran and their domestic proxies. He added:

“The 8-month presence of the awakened Iranian nation in the streets and public squares is a continuation of the eight-year Sacred Defense. Alongside the steadfastness of the military, law enforcement, and Basij forces, it has protected—and will continue to protect—Iran’s territorial integrity and the Islamic system.”

The Leader expressed appreciation for the intelligent steadfastness of the Resistance Front across various countries. He described unity across different spheres as a decisive factor with strategic implications for shaping the new political and security order in West Asia.

He expressed hope that this emerging order would increasingly facilitate unity among Muslim nations and governments, paving the way for the formation of a new Islamic civilization.

During the meeting, Major General Abdollahi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces; Major General Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army; and Major General Vahidi, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), presented reports on the readiness of Iran’s defense forces along the Persian Gulf coast, in the operational areas of the Strait of Hormoz, the Sea of Oman, and along the country’s northwestern and southeastern borders.

They also reported a severalfold increase in the production of various types of ammunition, weapons, and reconnaissance, support, and combat equipment.

Expressing satisfaction with the activities undertaken, the Commander-in-Chief instructed senior military commanders to convey his gratitude and appreciation to all military personnel, law enforcement forces, Basij members, employees of these organizations and the Ministry of Defense, as well as their families.”
