The bull case for BTC into year-end:
1. Positioning looks light — and that can fuel the next leg. YTD BTC is down ~4%, while the S&P is up ~14% and Nasdaq (QQQ) ~23%. Options markets are still calm: front-month implied vol is around 34%, near the lowest 15% percentile. A lot of that calm comes from heavy call selling around $90k — meaning many people aren’t positioned for a real breakout. If BTC clears $90k, hedging can accelerate the move, and $100–120k by year-end starts to look realistic.
2. RWA & tokenized stocks are opening a new growth narrative. On-chain equities went from roughly $1B in January to about $4.8B by end-September. A 5-year regulatory exemption for tokenized stock trading in the US has helped that take off — and that’s a bigger story than crypto alone.

SAN MATEO / HONG KONG, October 9, 2026 — Franklin Templeton, a global investment manager and leader in digital asset innovation, and Animoca Brands, a global digital assets and AI company, today announced a strategic collaboration to bring tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) to @NUVAFinance, the Animoca Brands-backed vault marketplace.
The collaboration extends NUVA’s reach beyond its existing Provenance blockchain-based assets, unlocking access to institutional-grade assets from a broader base of asset issuers. Co-incubated by Animoca Brands and @NUVALabs, NUVA launched in May 2026 with vaults that unlock access to assets on the Provenance Blockchain, which holds over US$30 billion in total value locked as of 24 September 2026.
“The convergence of traditional finance and digital assets has gone from the theoretical to being a real infrastructure play. The two firms have also launched a four-part, co-authored research series, which builds on Franklin Templeton’s decade-long commitment to expanding the utility of blockchain-enabled investment solutions within institutional workflows. The thought leadership series, now live at franklintempleton.com/tokenization examines the strategic significance of tokenization for institutional investors, the developments that have brought the market to this point, and how tokenization is changing the way institutions evaluate assets and construct portfolios.
