You know how to talk about code. But what about talking about yourself during a job interview? 👀

HR interviews can feel tricky, especially when you're not sure what recruiters actually want to hear.

In her first #Angular Love article, Anna Laskowska, HR Manager at a recruiter's perspective on what really happens in an HR interview.

You'll learn:
✅ Why recruiters ask about your weaknesses and tasks you dislike
✅ What they pay attention to during culture-fit interviews
✅ How to answer behavioral questions using the STAR method
✅ What to say when you don't know the answer

Plus, practical examples to help you prepare without memorizing perfect answers.

Whether you're preparing for your first developer interview or your next career move, this guide is worth a read.

Image loader enhancements in #Angular22 ⚡

💪 Challenge:

#Angular's built-in image loaders offer limited control over provider-specific transformations. Beyond basic width-based optimization, devs often had to write custom loaders or generate srcset manually to get the exact ded.

🧠 Solution:

The enhanced built-in loaders now support custom transformations for providers such as Cloudflare, Cloudinary, ImageKit, and Imgix. Developers can pass provider-specific options while still using Angular's image optimization features.

As each provider defines its own transformation API, supported parameters and syntax may vary, so check the provider's documentation.

🤝 Benefit:

Teams can now fine-tune image delivery to their CDN's capabilities, cut custom boilerplate, and handle advanced scenarios more efficiently. The result is a better balance between Angular's automatic optimization and the provider-specific controls real-world applications need.

⚡ #Angular22.2 brings in router resources, which for now are in Developer Preview.

They are a signal-based alternative to resolvers and can be either blocking or nonBlocking.

With non-blocking resources, you can show loading skeletons on the page while the data is loading.
add withRouterResources() to your router config and declare resources in your route configuration (example below).

➡️ Then you can read the resources through component inputs. Make sure you have withComponentInputBinding() enabled.

Are you loading your entire application bundle on the first page visit? 👀

The #Angular Router provides a powerful way to manage performance through lazy loading.

→ By utilizing loadComponent and loadChildren, you can instruct the Angular Router to defer downloading code for ur app until the user actually navigates to those routes.

This approach effectively splits your application into manageable chunks, reducing the initial payload.

See how to implement it in our new beginner-friendly article by Maja Hendzel! 🔥

You won’t learn 97 magic prompts in the #Angular Agentic Engineering workshop ❌

It won’t focus on shortcuts or generating as much code as possible, either.

These things may impress in a demo. But they’re not useful when a real task touches several libraries, and the agent must our codebase 😐

Instead, you’ll learn how to:
→ turn a feature into a spec and a clear plan
→ encode your conventions into reusable Skills
→ split bigger work between agents
→ review and test what comes back
→ decide what AI can own and where human judgment still matters

All of it hands-on, on a real Nx/Angular codebase, taught by a Google Developer Expert.

#Angular22.2 brought in @ boundary blocks, which let you catch errors in templates ⚡

Before this feature was released, if a component threw an error during rendering, part of the app didn't render at all.

The new block gives you a way to handle these rendering errors, so if ou can show a fallback UI.

Within the error blocks, you can:
➡️ use the '$error' variable to access the caught error
➡️ call the '$reset()' function to retry rendering the block

Note: the latest version of Prettier already supports formatting @ boundary blocks.

For now, they are available in #Developer Preview ⚙️

🟢 Good news: You can learn agentic #Angular engineering on your own 🔴 Bad news: It’ll take you up to weeks.

Here’s what you need to learn:

▪️ creating a spec an agent can work from
▪️ breaking features into clear, verifiable tasks
▪️ giving AI the right context instead of e over and over
▪️ encoding your conventions into reusable Skills
▪️ delegating work to sub-agents
▪️ catching the mistakes AI leaves behind
▪️ knowing what to delegate to AI and what should stay in your hands

That’s many evenings and days off spent learning, testing, getting it wrong, and trying again. Time you’d rather spend on anything else.

👉 You can also learn all this in 1 day, getting proven solutions from GDE @prodromouf. The decision is yours.

🗣️ Problem: "Working with my #AIagent, I have to describe the same thing over and over."

Solution: Build systematically. Write the spec → break it into a plan → encode conventions into reusable Skills → delegate work to sub-agents.

Barrier: "That will take me forever. I o start."

✅ Answer: Learn how to do it in one day from an expert. No time or energy wasted digging through it yourself.

Since #Angular22.1, you can migrate from @ Injectable to the new @ Service decorator using ng generate @ angular/core:service 🔥

The migration mapping is straightforward:
1️⃣ @ Injectable({ providedIn: 'root' }) becomes @ Service()
2️⃣ @ Injectable() becomes @ Service({ Keep in mind that the schematic will intentionally ignore any services that use constructor-based dependency injection or have a providedIn value other than 'root'.

👉 If you are still working with legacy code, it's a great idea to run the
ng generate @ angular/core:inject

⏰ Last chance to join us live!

Tests are supposed to protect your code. But when the underlying design is wrong, they end up protecting your mistakes instead 🚫

Here is how it happens:

An #AIagent writes clean #Angular code and adds 9 passing unit tests. Everything looks placed a business rule in the wrong layer, those tests won't catch it.

→ As a result, those well-written tests lock a bad architectural decision in place like wet concrete: the longer it sits, the harder it becomes to refactor.

GDE @prodromouf will explain how to test code logic with AI without freezing poor architecture in his webinar:
