Together with my coauthors (Jennifer C. Lai, MD/MBA), we lay out the evidence based strategies that prevent decompensation, hospitalization, and death for the more than 2 million Americans living with cirrhosis. We also walk through how to implement these concepts in practice

🏥machine_perfusion (#MP) is increasingly being utilised for #DCD liver transplants.

In this #UNOS study from 2016 to 2025, we showed an accelerated, 7.8-fold increase in the use of DCD livers from donors ≥60 in the #MP_era, with a reduction of the median #waitlist #time from eptable early graft survival.

So thrilled to see our collaborative publication with @tedradonc, @ma5RN and many others now online in @JCO_ASCO

These data from a large, multinational cohort provide further support for EBRT's role in the management of HCC.

Major international IPD effort by @ma5RN @AndrewMMoon and @tedradonc crafting a great team to assess the survival of almost 5000 HCC patients treated with EBRT and stratified by BCLC stage. Best information available to consider EBRT in clinical practice
