I built multiple projects to reach my goals:

- to work out more
- to focus on my current task
- to game less
- and more…

And the biggest hurdle is getting my data from the apps I use

To fix that, I’m aggregating all my digital data into one database:

I had a blast at Software for One: a science fair showcasing personal apps that presenters built only for themselves

lots of inspiration. my favorite was this undismissable popup to track progress towards goals, by Mandy Dahm.

thanks @mrmagan_ for organizing the event!

There's something magical about using SaaS from the IDE chat pane.
Last week we shared a practical guide with prompt examples and best practices for using Statsig’s MCP server 🛠️

Today we are showing some of these workflows in action: cleaning up stale gates and checking the status of a feature gate. Join André Terron, one of the engineers through what it looks like to use Statsig’s MCP, from setup to everyday use.

I'm joining @OpenAI !
Today, we have an exciting announcement: Statsig is being acquired by OpenAI.

Our mission at Statsig is to help product teams build smarter and faster. Now, we’re incredibly excited to continue to build on this vision as a part of OpenAI.

Once the acquisition is finalized, join OpenAI - and we will continue operating independently and serving our customers out of our Seattle and San Francisco offices. Ensuring continuity for our existing customers and users is our highest priority.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey - from customers, to investors, to members of our team, and everyone else who has supported us.

To learn more about the acquisition, please check out our announcement blog: statsig.com/blog/openai-ac…

New hack just dropped: With just a prompt, you can create an app 🚀

Build a starter application like an e-commerce store → connect it to Statsig → autocapture events → start gating changes and running tests⭐

Shoutout to @sampleappai for helping power this 🤝

Cloud to SQLite. A glorious program dropped the other day on HN: Gmail to SQLite[1]. I’m the most cloud & manage services pilled person in the world, but having near-realtime backups of any dataset of any SaaS sounds dreamy. This has value for individuals looking to explore data with LLMs and SQL, back up their data, gain portability, but also Enterprises and companies looking to build custom agents on top of their otherwise locked-up data.

Started a data sync library from scratch: live-model

It's a playground where I'll explore developer interfaces for local-first, reactivity, derived state, propagation, and more.

I just released 0.2.0 with React hooks for localStorage-synced state, and derived values.

Live Model 0.4.0 introduces a Collection-like concept: Models.

Models abstract the List-Detail pattern. It introduces two new React hooks:
- useModel: subscribes to a collection of items
- useModelItem: read/write a single item in that list

Still lots to explore. Stay tuned!

Statsig is Seattle’s latest unicorn 🦄

Since joining them 6 months ago, I quickly fell in love with the in-office, customer-centric culture.

We’ve shipped a ton, hit milestones and even went on a Disneyland offsite!

If that's any indication, there's much more to come!

last weekend, @abhicvk and I hosted the world’s first cozy x local-AI hackathon

- had 50 devs hack on @basic_db, @browserAI and others
- projects culminated in a demo hour with 100+ attendees
- peak vibes with a chai stand ☕

Whenever I see links or IDs on an API response, I just want to click them! 🖱️

This little experiment makes an API explorable with clickable links. Much easier than building new requests from scratch!
