Today Barack Obama is in Detroit, rallying for Abdul El-Sayed.
I lived in Egypt for seven years. In 2011 I watched the Arab Spring from my barricades were in front of my house, the Muslim Brotherhood was in the streets, and a prison five miles away was emptied.
Most voters in Michigan have never heard how that story connects to today's rally. Over the next four videos, I'll walk you through it:

Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. It went eerily quiet. The silence was deafening. Then everything changed.
These are my own photos from Jan. 30 and Feb. 1, 2011. We barricaded the road in front of my house to keep the Brotherhood from riding in on motorcycles. The army was in our streets.
The prisons opened. One was five miles from my house. Mohamed Morsi walked out of one of them.
Then I watched Washington open the door: the 2009 Cairo speech, formal contacts in 2011, and a congratulations call when Morsi won in 2012.

As Morsi took over, friends got me out to Dubai. No one came for us. We found our own way out.
Meanwhile, the money kept flowing to Morsi's Egypt:
• $450 million in emergency cash requested for his government
• F-16s delivered from an order placed under Mubarak
• $190 million released by Kerry after meeting Morsi
• $1.3 billion in military aid approved, though Egypt failed U.S. democracy standards

Nov. 25, 2012. Days after Morsi gave himself sweeping powers, Egyptian Americans published a statement backing him. It urged him to "purge the media and the police as quickly as possible."

The New York Times reports he signed it. His campaign declined to answer questions about it. The Free Beacon, citing FEC records, reports that fellow signers have given his campaigns more than $23,000.

• His father-in-law, a former CAIR-Michigan president who serves on ISNA's founding committee, has given about $300,000 to the super PAC backing him (FEC records).
• Fox News Digital found more than $115,000 given to his campaign by people tied to CAIR. That's individual donations, not money from CAIR itself.
Today, Obama takes the stage with him in Detroit.

I see and hear so many of our youth voting for communism which means our schools have catastrophically failed. The youth doesn't see that all the free stuff comes with a very big price.
The parents have failed to talk to their kids about current events. I also think cameras should be in the classroom so you know what is being taught.

It’s not my responsibility to feed someone else’s children or pay for their daycare and it isn’t the government’s responsibility either. That duty belongs to the parents who chose to have those kids.
Having children is a personal decision that comes with real obligations like providing food, shelter, childcare and everything else they need. When people have kids and then expect taxpayers, neighbors or the government to cover the costs…that isn’t compassion….its entitlement!
It turns a personal decision into a tax payer expense and shifts the burden onto people who had no say in the decision.
Strong families and a healthy society are built on parents who plan, work and take responsibility and ownership of the lives they create.
Outsourcing basic parental duties and responsibilities to everyone else weakens that nuclear family foundation. It rewards poor planning and trains people to look to the government instead of themselves. Parents should raise their own children and one else should be forced to fund the choice! PERIOD!

King County Elections recovered 92 undelivered ballots from two bins of mail found in a dumpster at Golden Gardens Park in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood this week.
A voter spotted the discarded mail and contacted the elections office and staff then went to the park and recovered the bins.
The ballots had not been delivered or used for voting. All affected voters have been reissued replacement ballots.
The incident was reported to the U.S. Postal Service for investigation as apparent mail theft. Seattle police also checked additional bins at the park and found no more ballots.
It seems Blue states and cities are the ones that always have these mail in ballot issues. Go figure. Its time to pass the Save America Act!
