It comes a day after U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Michael Waltz had with Cuba’s ambassador to the U.N., Ernesto Soberón, during the annual U.N. vote on a resolution calling for an end to the U.S. embargo on Cuba. The two engaged in a tense exchange, with Soberón calling Waltz “a liar.”
