🏦 What is “finality” in payments?

It’s the point at which a transaction becomes truly irreversible.

💳 Cards = soft finality. Settlement takes days, and chargebacks can reverse a payment weeks later.
⛓️ Blockchain = hard finality. Once enough confirmations are reached, there’s : a buyer pays with reversible fiat but receives irreversible crypto. If the card payment is later disputed, the crypto is already gone.
