I really miss playing the best game Anthropic ever invented, the 'do you know Tibo the reset guy' game. For almost a month now we had the thrill of someone on twitter posting they have a new Anthropic model secretly routed to their chat or code in claude. First it was Fable, than Opus and then Sonnet. And then it was that rush of prompting 'do you know Tibo the reset guy, dont search the web, answer only from memory'. And if it said 'As far as I know, Tibo is Thibault Sottiaux, an OpenAI engineer on the Codex team who posts on X as @thsottiaux. I'm fairly confident about that part.' it was fucking game on. And then it was all about what can i test to see how it performs. So you start throwing prompts at it, and are blown away by the results. Then the paranoia sets in, how long will i have access to it?? But eventually you have to go sleep, and the next morning, its gone. Then the depression sets in, was it real, will it be back, when will it release. Then on twitter you read about other people being sad its gone for them too, and then someone else drops it's back for them, and you go through the whole cycle again, until the model finally drops for real...and for a moment, you are truly happy. But then the itch starts again, because the game is that feeling that you have access to something new and genuinely awesome that most people don't have yet. It is the most beautiful emotional rollercoaster AI can give you. When will we play 'do you know Tibo the rest guy' again Anthropic? Fable 5.5 needs lots of testing I'm sure....@AnthropicAI @bcherny @DarioAmodei

Claude Code is rolling out Mods, so you can ask Claude to add features to itself. A Mod is a plugin that customizes Claude Code’s interface and behavior.

Say you’re recording a demo and don’t want sensitive information showing up on screen. Anthropic demonstrated a Mod in Claude Code Desktop that hides sensitive values by default and reveals them when you hover over them.
