$UBER investors can't even tell you the number of registered cybercabs. Straight into the meat grinder. Tragic

Incompetent $UBER cfo @_balaji_km a prime offender here but what do you expect from Uber. Misleading investors is all they've got
People are circulating this highly flawed, two-year-old Bernstein report as evidence that $UBER wins in an AV world.
Here are a few of the issues in this analysis:
- It adds $0.35/mile of human oversight and cloud cost as if that’s a fixed cost on every single mile. In reality luted in a scaled fleet.
- It hinges on both platforms charging $2.13 per mile. AVs don’t need a human to “accept” a ride at a low price. AVs could stay competitive at much lower prices at which no human would be willing to work.
- The model hardcodes a 35% deadhead penalty for AVs indefinitely. As robotaxi fleets achieve higher geographic density and user volume in a city, the algorithms become dramatically more efficient at chaining rides together. More riders mean the car has to travel fewer empty miles to reach the next pickup, naturally shrinking that 35% penalty over time.

$UBER cfo misleads investors vs internal comms on AV costs. Uber owns no autonomous IP, no AV manufacturing. Competes vs vertical integration. Continues to lie about unit economics, provides no modeling to support.
@realrosecelinesting in Uber over the next 5-10 years, you need to focus on whether Uber can ramp up AV supply on its network or not. We are making the bet that we can. When that happens, Uber's utilization and cost per mile are likely to be superior to standalone AV offerings. In that scenario, (1) the TAM expands significantly, and (2) there is significant room in the cost envelope to incorporate AV costs and have an expanding profit trajectory on a bigger TAM.

$UBER cfo/ceo don't want to admit that driver pay % will necessarily increase in any city where AVs scale to ensure drivers show up. At some point Uber will need to subsidize drivers completely or leave the city. Drivers aren't competitive nor are Uber partner AVs

Still waiting for an $UBER thesis that isn't braindead. Mostly hope that AV will give away their margin instead of just owning the market @Jason and @BillAckman no answer for why waymo doesn't even want Uber. Any of you retards answer that one?

$UBER ceo bought less than he sold in 2025. If he had any confidence in the business he'd be 100% at risk stock comp. Tells you all you need to know. No confidence in the business

$UBER trying to figure out what lie to tell the boomer analysts in a couple of quarters who ask why they don't operate in Austin anymore. Boomer analysts scratching their heads as to what it all means.

How long until $UBER drivers stop showing up in Austin? When will Uber tell shareholders they had to leave Austin? @Gfilche @skorusARK <1 year imo
