I have now submitted for inclusion #Budgie Desktop from @BuddiesOfBudgie to @AerynOS_Linux 🥳

I fully expect that it will undergo thorough review and there'll be some fixes I need to do (new to packaging for #aerynOS specifically), but we're closer to the finish line!

Decent update to our unstable stream this week.

We landed LLVM 23.1.1, Cosmic 1.8.0, Plasma 6.7.5, Linux 7.2.5 and Nvidia Driver 615.71.09 amongst a load of update updates and additions.

I know quite a few folks have been asking for it and well, here it is (coming soon). #Budgie Desktop packaged up and running on @AerynOS_Linux

Budgie 10.10.3 is right around the corner, so I'll be holding off on submitting it until we ship that within the next couple weeks.

aerynOS shares its August 2026 progress, including a rewritten Lichen TUI installer, Btrfs support, and a repository-wide rebuild covering over 1,700 recipes.
