🚨🚨 Johnson County, KS has about as many registered voters as it has citizens old enough and eligible to vote. 🚨🚨
~475,000 registered (Sept 2026)
~465,000–475,000 eligible citizens (Census/ACS est.-- ~22% under 18 and 4.4% are non-citizens)
That's ~100%+ of the county r comparison, about 74% of voting-age Americans are registered (Census, 2024). Most US counties land between 65% and 85%. JoCo at ~100% isn't normal. We have been flagging this since 2021.
Bloated voters rolls are filled up with names that don't match real, current voters. That's the danger. Every extra name is an opening: a ballot someone could request or cast in a name nobody is using anymore.
And Kansas doesn't verify citizenship when you register. Coldwater's non-citizen mayor pleaded guilty to this April.
Inflated rolls are an open door to election fraud. Good enough should not be the enemy of perfect in election security.

(b) On the 10th day prior to any election, the secretary of state shall publish the total number of registered voters in each voting precinct and include in such publication the total number of such registered voters who affiliated with the official website of the secretary of state.
AFAIK this has never happened since the 2021 law was passed.
I've heard that the numbers are still in flux when registration closes, so why try. I've heard this was an "unfunded" mandate from the legislature.
Having numbers of registered voters by precinct at approximately the time of registration closing would be an excellent check and balance against actions of any bad actors.
Election results would roughly be constrained by the numbers in such a report. Without the report, there's not much basis to challenge anything.
Instead of the "honor system" everywhere in the election process we need to adapt a "trust but verify" approach.
Next election cycle if this law is still on the books, we need to petition the courts to issue a Writ of Mandamus to force compliance with this law.

Accountability. Nothing this country needs more. All respect and confidence is lost in our Justice system and rightly so. I mean who can you blame the people when accountability was a pledge promise. How can you blame them when so many crimes and so much fraud has been going on for years with no one ever paying the price
Yes we the people have been more than patient with many abandoning the cause due to the lack of arrests. Crime after crime yet no justice. But the saying goes, patience is a virtue. Having patience will reward you. It looks like patience is starting to tear its head and is starting to pay off. The pipeline of crimes are finally being met and the timing couldn’t be any better
Like I said, they kept adjourning Comey’s case because more charges were coming and they came. I still think there will be more to follow. John Brennan knows they will be coming for him soon as they continue to gather the evidence and soon will convene a grand jury to indict the communist
The Ilhan Omar scandal just keeps growing as more and more evidence continues to pile up against her and that doesn’t even include all the fraud that is linked directly to her.
If we are going to talk about accountability how can we leave without saying hello to the most arrogant prick of them all. Old Fartman himself, Eric Swallwell. Talk about having the golden spoon, now he will soon be forced to eat with a plastic spoon. With Swallwell it’s only a matter of time before he wears the orange, especially after they just raided his sugar daddies mansion.
It may not be moving along as quickly as we hoped but understand, this is all getting done in a rigged system. Many roadblocks and obstacles needed to be hurdled to get us to this point. Swallwell is 200% finished. All the people he looked down to are all having the last laugh. The man besides being a corrupt politician, a known liar is now exposed as the sexual predator many already knew that he was.
So while it is frustrating waiting for all the arrests, I think it is safe to say, arrests are coming. These last two years will be a monumental shakeup in all of DC. These last two wheels are in motion. No more talk or empty words but actual accountability. As for Trump’s send off? We will learn all roads lead back to Obama. That will be the cherry on top. The downfall of the Kenyan cocksucker. All his scrubbed records will become public knowledge. God always has a plan. He chose and saved Trump for a reason. Trust the process. It all starts with Faith. In God We Trust. In Trump We Persevere. My two cents

The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.”
That’s the lesson.
Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.

JoCo Chair Mike Kelly (D) is using his Amberwave PAC to purify the Johnson County Commission to only have Democratic members.
Kelly's PAC is spending $25.5K to support incumbent Democrat Beck Fast against Republican challenger Ben Hobert, and $34K to support Greg Mitchell (D) epublican commissioner, Michael Ashcraft.
The Board of County Commissioners is the election board that certifies elections. If Kelly succeeds in knocking out Ashcraft, the county election board will be 7 Democrats and 0 Republicans. That doesn't seem right for the makeup of a county election board. Perhaps something for the legislature to review?
