Big time player making a big time play when it was needed!!! Proud of how you responded when YOUR team needed YOU! #WeWillWin #TheDentonHigh #DentonOriginal
It wasn’t my greatest night on Friday; but I am glad to have contributed to my team’s victory, and that’s what matters. I am so glad for my redemption hitting a walk-off field goal, securing US @DentonFootball a spot in the truly deserved playoff’s. So glad to keep playing for @AdamSchmidtke @Coach_Gramling @DavidGuajardo_ @OberkromKicking

A big time player who made some big time plays!! Congrats Caleb! #WeWillWin #DentonOriginal
Ryan's Rontavian Brown is the Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 190 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 40-27 win over Sherman.
Denton's Caleb Parler is the Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Broncos stifle Azle, 49-6.

WEEK 6 DISTRICT 3-5A(1) DUMP
Denton Ryan was up 33-7 on Sherman. Sherman's 20 second half points are concerning, but mostly in garbage time. Still 2:1 yards on them. Denton's defense is quite the story though. Forcing 5 turnovers and holding Azle to 130 yards is dominant. Fossil Ridge with a HUGE win over Saginaw which indicates that Sherman may be closer to Azle than we thought. I think there's a 50/50 chance at this point Sherman beats Azle and slides into the 4 spot.. especially as non-competitive as Azle was. I need a couple more datapoints, but Azle is on playoff watch at this point. Even Fossil Ridge may jump up and get Azle too..

How did Denton, the school often overlooked in the city, end up with a former power conference head coach? David Beaty's resume makes it a little clearer.
