Our study on endogenous giant viruses (GV) of Chlaymodomans reinhardtii, an important model protist, is now out in Virus Evolution. C_reinhardtii harbors genomes of GVs >300 Kbp long, & are likely infected by multiple distinct lineages of GVs in nature!

Thinking of @uarizona Wildcat community. A place I called home for years. Thinking of Professor Tom Meixner who was murdered today doing his job as a PROFESSOR. WTF! Professor Meixner was an ally who supported Indig science & scientists. My heart breaks for his family. No words.
