The semi-final against Chelsea last season killed us physically - drew and lost our two league games after the first leg. Never want to lose and yesterday was irritating because we played first-teamers, but we鈥檙e not going to be judged on winning the League Cup.
Arsenal now will have a full week of rest:
- before Man Utd (h),
- before Hull City (a),
- in the week between Man City (a) and Liverpool (h)
- And will not need to potentially re-schedule a home tie with Sunderland (who could be in Europa action)

Come January, we鈥檒l be grateful not to have two high intensity semi-finals crammed into our schedule - but the approach to tonight is still irritating. Wenger would鈥檝e played the fringe players, academy kids, and a few away supporters. No first-teamers should鈥檝e been up there.

The promising thing is we can play so much better than we did tonight, especially defensively. Only a 7.5/10 performance away at one of the most difficult grounds in Europe and we picked up a draw.
Very good first 30 mins and a very good last 15 mins. A bit indifferent in between but Kane was playing like a prime Tom Brady, sometimes you can鈥檛 stop it. I think if Mikel could have that game back he starts with MLS. Made for these kind of games.
