@see_RICH @JoelVinette Toronto had the highest voter turnout in the past decade @ 45.8%. The incumbent mayor's support doubled since the special election she won when the previous mayor resigned. It was strongly contested by a Trump-like Conservative. You cannot 'buy' an election in Canada.

Her only competition was a Trump-like Conservative who got 100,000 less votes than Mayor Chow even though dirty tricks abound. Money can't buy elections in Canada.
