Learn to appreciate the journey, even the parts you didn't plan for. Sometimes the detours teach you more than the destination ever could. Don't rush through a season that is developing you.

Don't get so caught up in where you're trying to go that you forget to appreciate where you are. Every season has a purpose, every step has a lesson, and every experience is helping shape you.

In the midst of the battle and everything you’re going through, continue to do what’s right. Don’t let what you’re facing change who you are. Your circumstances may change, but your character should remain intact.

Some days you’re on the mountaintop, and other days you’re fighting just to keep going. But no matter what today looks like, remember that God is still faithful. Your situation may change, but His character never changes. Keep trusting Him! 🙏🏾

Stop frying your brain with endless short form content. Read long, complicated, books. Especially novels. Cultivate the ability to think deeply. To focus for long periods. Stare into space and enjoy boredom. Do tasks without any media playing in the background. Resist the urge to reach for your phone every time you feel uncomfortable. Get used to being with uncomfortable emotions instead. Wonder and think about the questions you have instead of asking AI. Become deeply present with everyone around you. Your ability to focus, pay attention, to think deeply, is one of your most valuable assets. Reclaim the immense beauty of experiencing your life directly instead of living it through a screen.

Don’t let one bad day, one setback, or one moment of weakness send you back to your old ways. Growth isn’t about being perfect. It’s about recognizing how far you’ve come and refusing to keep being who you used to be. Keep moving forward.

One of the biggest signs of growth is knowing you can’t keep responding the same way, thinking the same way, or making the same decisions. At some point, you have to choose between what’s familiar and what’s better for you.

Growth means learning not to go back to the same old ways that kept you stuck. You can’t become a better version of yourself while holding on to the habits that belong to your old self. Keep growing. Keep evolving.

Teachers don’t just need to be evaluated. They need to be supported. Get in the classroom, help solve problems, celebrate growth, and show teachers you’re invested in their success. The goal is not just better teaching. It’s helping people get better.

Leadership is more than setting expectations and holding people accountable. It’s showing up, walking the hallways, greeting students, checking on teachers, and celebrating the little wins. Sometimes, the smallest actions make the biggest difference.

Before you can improve test scores, you have to build a culture where people feel valued. Students need to feel welcomed, teachers need to feel supported, and every staff member needs to know they matter. School improvement starts with people.

Growth is realizing that you don’t have to be the same person you were last year, last month, or even yesterday. Learn from your mistakes, accept correction, and keep working on yourself. Becoming better is a daily decision.

Root for people doing well, even when you’re still trying to figure things out yourself. Somebody else winning doesn’t mean you’re losing.
