Let me get this straight.
A guy keeps getting weirdly targeted ads on his new Samsung TV.
So he breaks into his own TV to find out why. 1.2M people watch.
42 hours later, OpenAI deactivates his account. Reason: "Cyber Abuse."
His words: "i have never used openai to exploit or nly local reverse engineering"
Same week, people on r/claude say Claude now cuts off reverse-engineering write-ups MID-SENTENCE:
"A safety check stopped my response partway through creating the playbook"
The TV is fine.
The guy who opened it is the problem.

banned for reverse engineering work? that’s wild
oh well, -$500, and a bunch of banked resets) but gained motivation to get 3 more machines and finish my cluster.
i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering which tripped daybreak.

Anthropic is killing "REA"
with Policies!! (or not?)
a reddit user asked claude to write a guide on it. claude did the research, then a safety check cut it off halfway. it said it can't write it again, even reworded
anthropic hasn't confirmed anything about REA. but its oct 6 ude blocks most cyber work unless you're a verified researcher
so is it a quiet ban or just the policy doing its job?

Holy!!..Openai Banned him??
for Reverse engineering his own samsung tv.
he says it was all local and he never used Openai to hack anything.
the account got flagged as cyber
abuse anyway, and he says he lost about $500 in credits.

Two of the people behind Claude Code left Anthropic on the same day.
Anthony Morris, who created Claude Code on desktop, said yesterday was his last day. He built it because he believes everyone can be a builder.
Thariq, who worked on Claude Code for over a year, announced his departure hours earlier the same day.
Both praised the team and the mission. Neither pointed to a disagreement.
Morris says he will share what is next soon. Thariq says he is taking a break before something new.

This Silicon valley startup allows
you to order Sunlight from Space
in 30 seconds.
yes, sunlight. from space. you can already book it on their website
reflect orbital puts giant mirrors on satellites and bounces the sun's light onto a spot you pick, even at night. the founder g it to you in under 30 seconds
right now it's a booking site: a $1,000 deposit and a 4 minute peak, brighter than a supermoon
the plan is 2 satellites this year, 36 in 2027 and 1,000+ by 2028.

Holy!! Claude code and Codex can
now QA your app before you launch!!
Every bug and dead end gets a screenshot. the agents fix them all, then rerun to prove it
so you're not shipping and hoping anymore
it clicks through your app like a real user, tries to break stuff, and shows you exactly where it died
Prompt is below, paste it in and watch it work!!

Prompt : you are my QA engineer. test this app like a real first time user before launch.
1. start the app locally and open it in a browser.
2. list every page, button, form and flow you can find.
3. go through each one. try normal use, then try to break it: empty fields, wrong inputs, double clicks, back button, refresh mid action, small mobile screen.
4. every time something breaks, looks wrong or leads nowhere, take a screenshot and log it with: what you did, what you expected, what happened.
5. when done, show me the full bug list ranked by how bad each one is.
6. fix every bug, one at a time, without changing anything that already works.
7. rerun the exact same tests and take new screenshots to prove each fix worked.
8. end with a short report: bugs found, bugs fixed, anything still broken.
do not skip steps and do not say something is fixed unless the rerun proves it.

Anthropic just shipped a feature that Anthropic itself invented 11 months ago!!! 😭😂
and the backstory is kinda funny
anthropic made MCP, the thing that lets claude plug into other tools.
and in nov 2025 they added "tasks" to it, so claude can hand off a long job like deep research and get pinged when it's done instead of sitting there waiting
today claude finally supports it.
Plus a plugin can now stop mid job and ask you stuff, like "confirm this refund?"
and before this, users said long plugin jobs in claude desktop were nearly impossible to deal with..
catch is it's only in claude code's terminal app for now
Why did it take anthropic this long to use its own thing?

We’re adding support for MCP Tasks and Elicitations in Claude.
Tasks let Claude give plugins long-running jobs such as deep research and report back when they’re done.

Kimi's new model is so good at
"Hacking" they had to nerf it before release.
and the Nerfed one still almost beats Claude Opus 5.5.

this full version could break into real software 90.5% of the time. we're talking linux and node.js, these are the stuff millions of apps run on..
Kimi said its too risky...
So, they took the hacking lessons out before release. this public one scores 81%
and that toned down version is still almost as good as claude opus 5.5 at coding, for half the price. anyone can download it from nov 4.
This is Insanely crazy to achieve this for Kimi.

Adobe Charges you every month to edit a pdf. this Guy just made it free
and the backstory is kinda wild
It's called PDFrig. he was building it as a paid app, then ripped out the payment code and open sourced the whole thing
what it does:
- edit the actual text in your pdf, not - highlights, comments, shapes, stamps
- fill forms and add signatures
- merge, split, reorder, rotate pages
- OCR that makes scanned pages searchable
- compress, watermark, page numbers
- convert images to pdf and back
no account, no subscription, and your files never get uploaded anywhere. it runs locally in your browser or as a windows app
it's still an early alpha though, so expect a few bugs
Would you actually switch from adobe for this?

Claude duet vs Grok bot,
the fight begins 🥊
4 rounds, real numbers only
Round 1, Speed: Grok bot wins.
Duet checks your apps every few hours and testers say tasks take 10+ mins.
Round 2, Cost: Duet wins.
$20 vs $30 a month
Round 3, Access: Grok bot wins.
Open to everyone vs nd 4, Integrations: Duet wins. 6,000+ connectors
Final score 2-2.
Grok bot takes it for me cuz i can actually use it (only in USA Rn), but Duet's better if you care about price
Which one wins for you?

Elon: "Some fools still
think the legacy news is real"
Right after reposting Nick shirley saying the media investigated him instead of the fraud
so i checked
his viral video said minnesota daycares were empty and stealing millions
the video blew up. federal childcare funds got frozen and the governor dropped his reelection bid
and what did legacy
media focus on?....Him
not the system that let it get this far. not the questions he asked. the guy holding the camera
you don't have to agree with everything he said to see the pattern
who's actually asking the hard questions now, X or the news?
think the legacy news is real"

WTF!! OpenAI's AI just found a hole
that let hackers take over websites without even Logging in!!!
Here's what happened (Full breakdown) :
the bugs
two critical PHP flaws, nicknamed "PHP2Shell". found using GPT-5.6 sol, and wiz found them on its own too
the fix
PHP's maintainers led it with openai, wiz and cloudflare helping. patches are out now: 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35
the tools
- a free PHP version checker so you can see if your site is exposed
- a codex skill coming soon to help find and fix it
the money
$1B in subsidized AI security access for teams protecting essential services that don't have big security budgets
OpenAI, Wiz and Cloudflare kept it secret for 2 months while they fixed it
OpenAi calls it one of the most impactful security issues in recent memory. and PHP runs a huge chunk of the internet
the scary part
OpenAi says the same AI that found these bugs can help hackers build exploits way faster. and they've already found more bugs they're working on
basically the race now is whether AI finds the bug before the hackers do
if you run anything on PHP, update today
is AI making the internet safer or more dangerous?

OpenAI models helped researchers—operating as part of our Patch the Planet initiative—discover critical security flaws in PHP, an open-source programming language used to run an estimated 70% of websites.
Over the past two months, we led a coalition of maintainers, researchers, and security providers to prepare fixes and protections ahead of disclosure. This duration was necessary because the fix was quite intricate and required a major change to the PHP engine. Every site using PHP can now safely upgrade their version to stay secure, in addition to applying mitigations from various security vendors.
Due to the severity of these flaws and PHP’s widespread use, we consider this bug to be one of the most impactful vulnerabilities in recent memory. It also marks a new phase, where AI can find security bugs with internet-scale impact.
This is an example of the Defender’s Window in action: to our knowledge, frontier AI was able to find this vulnerability ahead of attackers, giving defenders time to prepare.
openai.com/index/coordina…Community noteWiz Research wasn't the first one to discover the exploit. An independent researcher first discovered it: x.com/calif_io/statu…

Did you understand What just happened??!!
Openai just let its biggest enemy Google sell its AI
and Google now gets paid even when you don't use gemini bcz
Openai put its top models and codex on google cloud
pick gemini? google gets paid
pick openai? google still gets paid
happening:
- GPT-6 astra, GPT-6.1 sol and GPT-6 luna are going into google's model garden
- you can point codex CLI and the desktop app at google's platform
- companies pay through their google cloud bill and can use their existing google credits
- soon it's coming to google antigravity and gemini agent too
Google cloud is now basically the only big Cloud with all three top AI models in one place
nobody's saying how big Google's cut is. but Anthropic is expected to pay Amazon and Google up to $6.4B this year just for reselling Claude
So, Who's really winning the AI race here?

OpenAi's new models are apparently REALLY good at fixing ancient code
and by ancient i mean COBOL.
IBM says it still runs 95% of ATM transactions and 80% of in person card payments..
openai just tested GPT-6.1 Sol on moving COBOL programs to C++, Java, Kotlin, Python or Rust
w reasoning effort
- 97.9% at higher effort
- the previous model (GPT-5.6 Sol) scored 5.4%
- and it's 39% cheaper to run
5% to 98% in one model jump is kinda insane
the test is strict too. the new code has to give the exact same output as the old one, down to the byte, or it fails
that matters because COBOL handles decimals in its own weird way. a rewrite can run perfectly fine and still get the money wrong
catch: it's openai's own benchmark and nobody outside has reproduced it yet. openai also says real migrations still need experts checking everything
would you trust AI to rewrite your bank's 40 year old code?

Before anyone gets too excited about this
that 40% isn't a cost anyone actually measured. it's ark's guess for 2031 "at scale"
cybercab only just joined the fleet. nobody has a real cost per mile yet
and this whole model leans on robotaxi, which ark says is about 80% of tesla's value
so a $17.5T valuation built on a cost guess that's built on another guess lol
could still play out, idk. just read it as a forecast stacked on a forecast, not data

ARK Invest has just released their new Tesla valuation model, projecting @Tesla could reach a $17.5 trillion valuation by 2031, and upwards of $20.4 trillion in a bull case.
ARK's 2031 Tesla base case: $4,400/share
• ~1M Optimus robots sold externally, generating ~$212B in 80% of Tesla's enterprise value (down from ~90% in ARK's 2029 model)
• ~8.1M robotaxis deployed, with ~$753B in ride-hail revenue
• Total revenue of ~$1.45T and EBITDA of ~$902B
• Market cap of ~$17.5T
• Tesla's AI infrastructure spend grows from ~$7B to $225B cumulatively
ARK's 2031 Tesla bull case: $5,000/share
• EV revenue (excluding credits): $355B
• Robotaxis: 10M vehicles and $899B in ride-hail revenue
• Energy storage: 2,693 GWh deployed and $193B in revenue
• Optimus: 1.2M robots sold externally and $254B in revenue
• Total revenue: $1.62T
• EBITDA: $1.045T, a 65% margin, with a 72% gross margin
• Market cap: $20.4T
ARK's model does not assume SpaceX and Tesla merge, but they estimate combined SpaceX and Tesla could generate $3.8T in revenue by 2031, with SpaceX contributing ~62%.
