Your first @0xCurvy swap explained, start to finish.
How your funds move through the privacy pool, where to find Curvy on Ramses, and what stays public.
The steps and the swap link are in the thread 👇

The Ramses ecosystem keeps growing.
Your trading strategy doesn't have to come with a public playbook.
Curvy is now part of Ramses Toolkit: private swaps that make the link between your funding wallet and its destination harder to follow.

Two weeks in. A new swap integration, a verifiable ceremony, a batch of fixes, and a busy stretch on the community side.
New
- Curvy joins the Ramses Toolkit. Ramses traders can now use Curvy for private swaps.
- Verifiable trusted setup. The final keys from our and anyone can check them.
Improved
- Every amount and fee is now checked inside the circuits.
- Search and notifications in the web app, on testnet for now.
- New releases: rs-core 0.1.2 and 0.1.3, plus ceremony client 0.1.2 with Linux ARM64 and musl builds.
- Security updates for Node and nginx.
Fixed
- Private proving works in Safari again.
- Portal deposits on BNB Chain are automatic.
- Bridge quotes come back faster and no longer time out.
- Tokens with non-standard decimals show the correct amounts.
Community
- @lazartravica pitched Curvy into the top 5 at the Business Angel Summit (BAS26) in Sarajevo.
- Curvy won second place in the privacy round in Octant Epoch 13. Thank you to those who backed us.
- With HOPR, we showed private onboarding into Gnosis VPN. Funds are shielded through Curvy, so VPN funding isn't publicly linked to your wallet. Private PIX payments for exit nodes come next.
- Curvy and Umbra shared a joint concept for private payments across the two protocols. It's a concept for now, not a shipped feature.
On staging
- A payments dashboard for merchants: balance, incoming payments, a chart by period and CSV export for bookkeeping.
- Rebuilt zero-knowledge circuits with lower gas costs and quicker proofs. They ship after the next ceremony.

What an epoch! Thank you for contributing to advancing privacy on Ethereum and the open internet. Your allocations have helped allocate 100 ETH in matching funds from @GolemFoundation.
A big congrats to all the teams in the cohort. Thank you for all your work. Here's to a the default and not the exception.

Octant Epoch 13 is funding privacy on @ethereum and the open internet, with a 100 ETH matching pool
in quadratic funding, many small donors count for more than one big one. that only holds if each donor is a separate person
Passport's Sybil check helps the round keep it that way
voting closes 21 Oct, 8 PM EDT

Whether you’re a longtime $GLM locker or this is your first Octant epoch, there’s a way to take part:
👉 Allocate your GLM locking rewards. Send accrued $WETH rewards to the projects you choose. Your full contribution becomes voting power.
👉 Contribute from your wallet. Allocate ETH or WETH to projects without having locked GLM. Half your contribution becomes voting power. The other half is swapped to GLM and burned. This path requires a Sybil verification step with @HumnPassport.

Privacy is multiplayer. It works best when everyone helps preserve it.
Thanks to @OctantApp, we met the Curvy team & began exploring how Umbra payments could flow directly into @0xCurvy’s private pool, extending privacy beyond the receiving addr.
Here's to more fusion dances!

Privacy works better when protocols compose.
Curvy reduces the public link to the payer.
Umbra gives the recipient a fresh stealth address.
We’ve been exploring what happens when those two flows connect.
Still a concept for now, but this is the direction we’d like privacy in.
Final day of @OctantApp Epoch 13.

This is exactly the kind of thing we wanted Epoch 13 to unlock: privacy projects connecting instead of working in isolation.
One of the best things about @OctantApp's Epoch 13 has been finding specific ways privacy projects can compose rather than just campaign next to each other.
For example, stealth addresses protect the receiver but what happens after withdrawal is also key.
To address that, we cept with @0xCurvy where funds received through Umbra can move directly into Curvy’s private pool instead of being withdrawn to a publicly known address.
The idea is to extend privacy beyond the first hop and reduce how much any one layer can see about the full payment path. It's not live yet, but we're working on it!
Check out the teams building in this Privacy Round and vote for Umbra, Curvy and any project that catches your eye. Deadline is this Wednesday, Oct 21, 8pm ET.

Private payments shouldn’t require both sides to use the same privacy protocol.
We’ve been exploring a concept with @UmbraCash: start from Curvy without exposing a clean public link to the original payer, and deliver the payment to a fresh Umbra stealth address on the other ng at the reverse flow: withdrawing from Umbra directly into Curvy’s private pool instead of a publicly known address. Still a concept, not a live integration yet, but exactly the kind of privacy composability we’d like to see more of.
We met through @OctantApp Epoch 13 and decided to use the round to explore something concrete together. Explore Octant Epoch 13, epoch.octant.app/rounds/0x571ce…, and vote for Curvy, Umbra, or any privacy project you believe in.
