Ukraine cannot agree to an energy ceasefire because most of Russia’s funding for the war comes from oil and gas revenue. If Ukraine stop striking Russian oil refineries and ports then Russia will double their revenue from oil/gas and fund tens of thousands of cruise missiles and jet powered drones
Ukraine’s strikes on Russian oil refineries have been so successful that their oil refining in Russia has decreased by over 50%. Russia lost tens of billions of dollars a year. Ukraine having success against Russia made Putin and Trump mad so they’re attempting to do anything to make Ukraine stop

SCOOP @FT: The Trump administration is threatening to stop the PURL procurement system that provides Ukraine with weapons in order to press Kyiv to halt its deep strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, according to officials in Europe.
The officials, who received calls from American officials on Saturday and Sunday or were briefed on them, said the US was lobbying European capitals and Kyiv in an attempt to end the attacks on Russian oil refineries. The White House declined to confirm or comment on the calls.
