• Thanks for the email to my daughter noted it’s “hard to prove” the door-slam & other issues, even with emails and staff accounts on record
• Apparently CCTV that wouslammed in her face is no longer available (how convenient)
• She received one week’s pay instead of a fortnight
• Placed in the too-hard basket because she’s still on probation
• So SafeWork & Fair Work protections apparently don’t apply if you’re assaulted or mistreated during probation 🤬
• She no longer wants to stay a member of that union that treats cases like this as too difficult 🙄
For poor people like us, this is the outcome. 😭💔
@youngacademics_ has shown a consistent pattern of cruelty here: a staff member deliberately slamming a door in my daughter’s face, ignoring clear evidence of false accusations to demote her, breaching her permanent contract on hours & then rushing toward termination, and responding to the death of her dog
with the callous line “it’s just a dog.”
That combination of physical intimidation, dishonest process, & complete disregard for basic human decency is what was left to my daughter to deal with.
No consequences for those with power & money!

My daughter was also demoted from senior pre-kindy class as an ECT due to relatives of a child who made false claims and changed their stories three times despite evidence from other staff that this event (clicking her fingers in a child’s face) never happened and the CCTV proves it.
And now you’ve told her she will end up terminated on 1 November and you’ve also stated in an email that hours will be reduced, despite contract saying permanent 40 hours wk and a RDO. Do you know you’re breaching the contract? She has also been sick prior to today with bronchitis with days off.

You’ve have done untold psychological emotional stress and I suggest you actually give her 2 months of pay on being terminated because you’ve broken Fair Work acts.
