Parliament is back in session tomorrow and we're bringing the voice of the people to the halls of power.

At our caucus meeting earlier this month, we met with community organizers to hear about the work they're doing on the front lines of one of Canada's most expensive cities — ks and housing organizers and many more.

While workers struggle to make ends meet, the Liberals have made it clear they're going to use this fall's session to attack the right to strike, push through privatization and more.

At this critical moment for our country, Avi Lewis and your NDP MPs are keeping up the fight for bold solutions to make life better for the many, not the money.

Christmas came early for billionaires, investors, and arms dealers. The “Masters of our Destiny” are the people who the PM invited to his investment summit. The time to put in place a wealth tax is long past due!

I'm sorry - after writing stern letters and hiring lots of lawyers, this is the Carney government’s big move to save Stelco workers?

When was the last time the Competition Bureau brought the hammer down on a big corporation? Anyone?

Workers are under attack *right now*.
sterday.

The problem with the Canadian economy is not that there isn't enough wealth. It's that it's not being shared and the cost of everything is too high. That's what this budget should have addressed.

If you're a billionaire, this budget is Christmas come early.

Canadians are struggling with the cost of everything — groceries, rent, medication, and everything in between. But this budget only makes it easier for the same corporations fuelling the crisis to profit even more.

Canada’s 40 billionaires increased their wealth by $95 billion last year. At a time of unprecedented wealth inequality, it’s unacceptable that this budget contains no new measures to make the very richest pay their fair share.

That’s why we’ve called for a wealth tax on the very richest that could generate up to $40 billion per year.

Today’s budget is Christmas come early for CEOs, foreign investors and arms dealers. It talks a lot about affordability but does little to actually lower your costs.

The single biggest item in the budget is a “mega deduction” for corporations, with a price tag of $36 billion over 5 years. Fifty per cent more than all of the “affordability measures” combined. But where is the mega deduction to your grocery bill, or your rent?

The “Masters of our Destiny” in Budget 2026 is not you and your family, it’s members of the billionaire class that the Prime Minister invited to his Investment Summit.
