My new company is hiring one of our most important roles: a Founding Content Lead. This person will work with me everyday in SoCal to build out the voice, face, and feel of this company online
I want someone raised on the internet that knows what makes people click & that understands social media and how it operates. Someone that spent years in the creator economy and can take any idea and creatively bring it to life
This isn't an agency job or a social media manager job. It’s a job for a creative that wants to build a brand from scratch and own the process
Feel free to reach out over DM or check out the job listing in the replies below for this + the other few roles we’re hiring for.

Most of the creator economy has been built around reaching people everywhere. Local businesses need something different: creators who live nearby, posting about places their viewers can actually walk into.
Today we’re launching @TryNearbyCom as part of @ycombinator S26, live rants across Southern California.
We have spent the last 10 months doing restaurant visits with creators and sitting with hundreds of owners, learning what they actually need. That work grew us over 130% since the batch started with over 90% retention since November.
Excited to continue to make local businesses discoverable online, and to turn millions of locals into creators for the businesses around them.

This team doesn’t have “AI” anywhere in their pitch but has AI growth rates and would have 10x the headcount if they weren’t so AI-pilled.

Introducing TryNearby from @FaZeApex and his cracked crew. They've found a clever new way to fill up local restaurants, a $399/mo subscription that brings in great local social media influencers on autopilot.
SMBs engaging with local influencers has become a crucial new b2b interaction for local economies. TryNearby is building THE product that takes all the pain and awkwardness from the interactions a la Airbnb with rentals and Uber with rides.

- We just surpassed 100 active subscriptions
- We nearly doubled revenue since the batch kicked off, growing over 90% in ~5 weeks
- We've grown 37% month over month with 92% customer retention since October
Proud of the team & excited to share a video soon showing more about what we have been building 🙏

Have spent all of 2026 building something new post-FaZe. Excited to join @ycombinator this summer as I continue on this next chapter.
Ten years ago I was 20, moving out of the FaZe House in New York to our new place in Newport Beach.
This week I turned 30, and I’m feeling the SF that I felt in 2016. Excited to share more soon 🙏🏻

TryNearby's @FaZeApex went from making YouTube videos at 14 to co-building FaZe Clan, and now he's chasing his next big idea. Watch the full interview on YouTube to hear how his creator roots are shaping what he builds next.

Just watch and listen. Anyone defending this demonic army is nothing but evil themselves
Nothing else to say at this point and for all the people quietly watching for 21 months now you should feel ashamed of your fear to even say the word Palestinian; ignoring and dehumanizing thousands of kids like Amir- who’s dirty, shoeless feet carry more honor than all those turning a blind eye and supporting genocidal Israel
It’s not perceivable that the psychopaths bearing billions of dollars in weapons, who are recording themselves on TikTok daily laughing while scavenging through civilian homes, wearing their clothes, going through their belongings, even blowing up their homes to do gender reveals can possibly in any world be considered good people. Good people who starve civilians, then “set up aid distribution centers” just to shoot kids who walked barefoot for 12km and waited all day for half a bowl of flour to feed their siblings who have been starving for months in their tents
These devils have done all of the above and much more for 21 months, posting their crimes happily on social media while they barbecue and have full table feasts on the outskirts of Gaza smiling and doing Tik tok dances in between. How is it real that anyone with a conscience can support these people?

⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇱JUST IN: U.S. contractor and former Green Beret Anthony Agular, who worked for the U.S.-Israeli-backed GHF, speaks out, sharing the story of a Palestinian child named Amir who went to get aid but was killed, prompting Agular to break his silence:
“On May 28, at secure his young boy, Amir, walks over to me, reaches out & kisses my hand. This boy is not wearing shoes. His clothes are falling off of him because he is so skinny….He doesn’t have a box, he has half a bag of rice , lentils, and he was thanking us.
He walked 12 kilometers to get there … & when he got there he thanked us for the crumbs he got … & he set them on the ground & his frail, skeletal, emaciated hands, and he kissed me and said 'thank you.'
And then he collected his items, walked back to the group, and then he was shot at with pepper spray, and tear gas, and stunt grenades, and bullets, and he was shot at, at his feet and in the air, and he runs away...and the IDF were shooting at the crowd … they are shooting … and they are shooting into this crowd & Palestinians, civilians, human beings, are dropping to the ground, and Amir was one of them... Amir walked 12 kilometers to get food, got nothing but scraps, thanked us for it, and died.”

In 2010 I was a major fanboy of @Temperrr , 15 years later I’m grateful to have made a brother for life
FaZe would simply not exist if it was not for this man, a true legend and the pioneer of this industry ❤️

Talked all about FaZe from 2010 on— how Tommy joined (I never knew the story)— how he lowkey hacked the channel, created the FaZe logo, and way more awesome stories. OG’s will love this one, enjoy: youtu.be/dQ7Io-nlUJk
