Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 11, Card 43 - PEPETRODOL by an unknown artist. This is a 1/1,000 card with a current floor price of 0.005 BTC ($403 USD).
82 wallets hold a copy of this card and the largest controls 79.3% of the total supply (793/1,000). That wallet was .
The image used on the card is a photograph of oil wells near Teapot Dome, Wyoming. It was taken in 1973 by Boyd Norton for the U.S. National Archives. The photo is part of a larger series called "DOCUMERICA: The Environmental Protection Agency's Program to Photographically Document Subjects of Environmental Concern".
The image first appeared online on 9 Nov 2009 and it is now the main image for the Wikipedia entry, "Teapot Dome scandal."
To the original photograph, the artist added a smug pepe with a cowboy hat on to further the western motif and they also added Pepecash logos to the oil pumps on the part that is known as the Horse head.
The card name is a play on the phrase Petrodollars which simply means dollars paid to oil-producing nations.

A San Francisco startup says it just turned mercury into real gold.
The company is Marathon Fusion. This week they announced they'd made stable gold using fusion neutrons, at 10x the record CERN set in 2025.
CERN's record was 29 picograms over four years. So et.
The method is what got me. You hit mercury-198 with a fusion neutron. It loses a neutron, becomes mercury-197, and over the next few days decays into gold-197. The exact same gold sitting in central bank vaults.
Their 2025 paper says a one-gigawatt fusion plant built this way could make around 2 tonnes of gold a year as a side product, while it's selling electricity.
I've said it for years. Gold is a shiny rock. It's valuable because there's only so much of it and pulling it out of the ground is hard and expensive.
If this holds up, gold's scarcity turns into an engineering problem. And you can only delay technical progress. You can't stop it.
To be fair, the gold comes out mixed with radioactive isotopes and would need to sit for well over a decade before it's safe to touch. Nobody outside the company has verified the result yet, and commercial fusion is still years away.
Peter Schiff has spent years telling everyone Bitcoin has no intrinsic value.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 35, Card 37 - THELAWNMOWER by @DesignOneforall. This is a 1/1,000 card with a circulating supply of 150 after 850 were destroyed 5 years ago.
The current floor price is 0.00266 BTC ($228 USD) and 32 wallets hold a copy of the card. Two ned 71% of the total circulating supply (53/150 each) (106 total).
This is a hand-drawn and animated pepefied version of the character Jobe Smith played by Jeff Fahey from the 1992 science fiction horror film The Lawnmower Man.
As the movie concludes, Jobe becomes a permanently virtual/digital being which is what One For All has captured in his card. The purple tiles behind him are in reference to belief that sacred patterns prove a divine intelligence and is flashed into Jobe (Jeff Fahey)’s eyes.
