Choosing not to be a breeder was a great choice for me.

I had a vasectomy several years before meeting my wife... and she often cites that as an example of something she appreciated about me. That I was clear about what sort of life I was (and wasn't) looking for with a long-term partner.

Following through with a decision makes things so much clearer going forward.

Having said that, I also love being an f'uncle of six... that's enough proximity for me.

A lot of people pitch themselves as guests for @_maintainable. When they do, I ask them to recommend 2-3 other people they think would make interesting guests for the podcast.

Would it surprise you how many respond with, “Unfortunately, I can't think of anyone to recommend”?

You're asking me to introduce you to my audience, but you can't think of a few other people in our field who deserve that same opportunity?

What's even wilder is how many of these folks are trying to promote their business or product.

If you're struggling to grow your network and reach new audiences... perhaps start by helping a few other people do the same.
