A 27-year-old is being hailed as a hero after jumping on a moving school bus to save 19 children.

Surveillance video shows the school bus dangerously rolling down a Minnesota street after the driver suffered a medical emergency.

Ebro Ahmed, who was taking then makes a split-second decision that may have saved their lives. He sprints toward the moving bus, jumps aboard and brings it to a stop.

Ahmed has never driven a bus before and accidentally shifts it into reverse before managing to engage the parking brake.

All 19 children and Ahmed escaped without injury.
